I went there on vacation.

It is a pretty comfy place.

Cuba is the nicest country is Latin America by a wide margin (in before muh GDP.) Not sure if Castro had much to do with that though.

The answer seems to be yes but he prevented Americanization of his country so he ia based.

Also I don't get why people care that a commie died in a country you don't live in and wouldn't live in even if the country was capitalist. Clap when commies die in your countries.

He's Justin Trudeau's dad.
Cuba is nice for vacations.
But the time I went we weren't allowed in the water because it was making people's hair fall out.

Not as shitty as most other Latin American countries.

Is not having any internet or flat-screen tvs considered shitty? then you could say cuba is shitty, but really they're just stuck in the 50s.

Castro was cool. Che was gigantic faggot. Also Cuba is great. Unlike Brazil you won't get raped and/or murdered for wandering down the wrong street, though people may give you strange looks. Also there are still some white people there.

ask some cubano here on Sup Forums

You've never seen a cuban flag on here because cubans are literally not connected to the internet

they use their own commie intranet copy of the internet

>literally Trudeau with a beard
Anyways the good thing about Castro was that he was anti-globalist and liberated his country from American imperialism. The bad was that he was a commie and a dictator.

>the time you went there
how old are you

you can go

72k cubans just died trying to cross the ocean to reach Miami
Lol, Cuba is literally the paradise, comrade

Cuba has the 5th highest HDI in Central and Southern America. It's not bad at all

I thought Fidel Castro was a pretty cool guy who stood up for what he believed in, but now that Trudeau likes him and Trump doesn't I don't like Fidel anymore.

he did the best he could given how shit Cuba was

see what all that cozying up to america and capitalism did to Mexico

instead of radicals and US government plants being interrogated and executed, innocent people who stand up to the drug cartels are

I thought that was a picture of Trudeau for a second.

>muh 70000

Go fuck yourself monkey.

If caught, they are imprisoned, forcibly given psychotropics, and declared insane. I'd rather drown.

>people defending Castro and saying he was a great man
Holy shit you people are stupid. Come live here if you like commies so much, you commie cucks.

It's your own fault for building your entire economy around a single fucking commodity. Get fucked. Also "democratic" "socialism" is awful.

>Is cuba still shity?
Yes

He was a piece of shit. Their health care is shit, you have to bring your own sheets to the hospital. If you spoke out, you died. You couldn't leave the country. Fuck that faggot, rot in hell.

>denying commie death count
No, fuck you commie scumbag

>Fuck that faggot, rot in hell.

Still mad about losing grandpa's plantation are we?

Yes goy, don't forget the 72 thousand

My abuelita died trying to escape from Cuba too, it was real in my mind...

What? No I fucking hate communists, I would kill them all with my bare hands if I could.

>intranet copy

EntraNyet

t. gusano

>(((commie))) changes his ID
nice try

t. 19 year old who still thinks communism is a viable worldview

Mi abuelo was just a poor, poor farmer with only 20,000 acres to his name, all of which were stolen by those evil commies. He survived the firing squads three times before slipping off to America.

do Cubans still put their familiy at risk of drowning or becoming shark food just to get out of that shitty island?

He's a case study into the good and the bad that dictator can do. Greatly improved the health and education of his people at the cost of a lot of poverty and political assassinations.

>implying I ever supported any of this shit
I wish I had not been born in this shithole.

Also get fucked.

And after all the money your country has given them, those ungrateful fucks. Because communism works guys, remember that.

26, Why? Did I say something stupid?

I was in cuba this summer, the story is very long but anyway, i think castro improved the country a lot.

Pros:
Batista was an awful dictator, with ties with the mafia etc. at the time cuba was just a mafia controlled place, with casinos and cheap brothels.
The revolutionaries led by castro managed to free the country, and many things improved under them.
In a few years literacy went from super low to 99.9%, its one of the top countries in the world for literacy, higher than most rich countries.
Education is free university included and cubans are quite well educated actually
Healthcare is also free and pretty amazing. Under castro Cuba has had the highest number of doctors per capita of any country, and has reached a higher life expectancy than the us.
The castro government also provides housing for all cubans, there is no homelessness unlike in the us.

Cons:
the economy is still fucking crap, this is due both to the communist ideas preventing people from freely starting enterprises and compete, but also from the embargo imposed from the us, so it's a combination, not entirely castro's fault.
But basically cubans are poor as shit. The houses most people live in are awful, the food most people have access too is pretty crap (this changed recently as the government is allowing some free enterprise in the form of restaurants and shit).
Due to the embargo the currency is worthless and imported good are almost unattainable for locals. They have two currencies, the local peso is worthless on international exchange, and locals are paid in that. But for local goods its good enough to live an okay life.
This created two economies though, cause people who deal with tourists are paid in "convertible pesos" (=dollars) so basically a taxi driver in cuba can make in a day what a doctor makes in two months, it's pretty fucked up.

Either way, I think all in all castro was a positive force for the country, he killed people but that happens in every revolution

>i think castro improved the country a lot.
Lol did you visit the luxurious hotels and the tourists areas only? the island is like a post apocalyptic scenario from the 50s
be honest
try to live with $30/month like an average cuban

Source on that?

Political abuse of psychiatry is an issue in Cuba but is by no means the rule for cases like that. Mostly they're just imprisoned, which is still shitty.

>try to live with $30/month like an average cuban
They manage. The embargo didn't help much though. At least they aren't being shot and raped to death in favelas.

edgy XD
t. right wing nutjob

good posts

Nah not at all, I was actually hanging with cubans and wasn't only in Havana, so I think I got to see the "real" cuba rather than the touristy resort things.

>try to live with $30/month like an average cuban
yea that's shit if you wanna buy import things, but for local goods its livable. Rent for a house for a local can be like 1$ a month if you convert it to dollars. Counting in dollars really doesnt make much sense as it's a two currency economy.
But still yea, I was surprised by how shitty the conditions were. They are piss poor dont get me wrong. Like i entered in some of their "houses" if you can even call them that. Conditions were fucking awful, I wasnt expecting cuba to be so much piss poor third world.
So yea overall it was much poorer and shittier than i thought, but if you weigh in the basically free healthcare/education/housing its still an improvement compared to the batista period

>>Political abuse of psychiatry is an issue in Cuba
It's an issue for political dissidents in all countries, including America and the EU.

I'm always skeptical when commies report statistics. Since the press has no freedom over there, why wouldn't the government just asspull numbers to make themselves look good?

The Soviet Union and PRC pull(ed) this shit all the time. Since there's nobody to call them when they bullshit, why WOULDN'T they lie?

pretty much the most based guy from latin america desu senpai

does he not look like niam leeson

These statistics have been verified by organizations like UNICEF and the World Bank.

>UN
>World Bank

>trustworthy

that's true, idk if i would trust those statistics entirely. But still ive noticed personally some things like the lack of homeless people, a lot of children of all backgrounds going to school and university, cheap medicines..
but also those universities had bathrooms that looked like third world, and the hospitals look third world too.
I mean, its a third world shithole, but i think its true they have good education and healthcare, especially the cubans ive talked with, even the common people were very well educated on history and even culture, like cinema, music..

Not an argument.

Can't get more capitalist than the World Bank. It's literally designed to promote western capitalist hegemony, especially in the third world.

>justin born 1971
>pierre + margorott first went to cuba in 1976
>Justin already 5 by the time margerott and pierre go to cuba

Fidel is so obv Justin's dad...Maggie was a total slut who was doing coke off Andy Warhol's dick in Studio 54 back in the day...Pierre was a total cuck.

Redpill on Castro

Took away doctors wagers
Took away educators wages
Sacked all the production and resources for his enterouge
building communism

>doctors wagers
>educators wages
You really shouldn't have to pay for either of those things. At least not in an ideal world.

You made me laugh.

>doctors are slaves
>teachers are slaves
>from sacking these workers, all the production of the state belongs to the party members

>USA lowers all wages of teachers
>USA lowers all wages of doctors
>total 2% of gdp of state
>see our healthcare and education? glorious socialist model!
where's the 98% of things at?
Because the rest of the economy has nothing to do with not paying doctors or educators wages.

then you make up a good soviet lie to have a blank check while you rob the country blind

"war on terrorism"
"fighting capitalists"
it's all the same, blank checks for complete plunder and making one anti-patriotic for wanting to make everything have a receipt.

>state employees are slaves

>education and healthcare workers shouldn't be paid
You want slaves.

>>Cuba is the nicest country is Latin America by a wide margin

Nah, there are better options.

Getting paid, no/less benefits = Not paid, everything given by the goverment

The real gain of wealth is the same

>The wagecuck thinks he's in the land of the free because the monetary jew

kek

there's no point in discussing with subhumans.

Only us burgers couldnt go, actually, we could go by taking Cuckandian flights.

How old are you?

Not an argument, but not like I expected one from you anyway.

I would have to explain red is not blue and why red is not blue to you.

Good on you, calling out the right wingers for trying to smear the revolutionary vison of Castro, can't they see how much the greedy capitalists are holding us back, how much higher the standard of living could be if they just became socialist?

If we only try hard enough, we can give every socialist the communal utopia they dream about. Free food, free housing, free healthcare, free helicopter rides, free internet. It's all in our grasp if we try hard enough.

Dont buy commie propaganda

>Cuba ranked fifth in the hemisphere in per capita income, third in life expectancy, second in per capita ownership of automobiles and telephones, first in the number of television sets per inhabitant. The literacy rate, 76%, was the fourth highest in Latin America. Cuba ranked 11th in the world in the number of doctors per capita

pbs.org/wgbh/amex/castro/peopleevents/e_precastro.html

yes

you guys do realize that Castro wasn't running the country when he died right

>Be in a Capitalist system
>When you work they give you good boy points (aka, money)
>You spend your good boy points in the stores (owned by the same club that gave you the money)
>This is somehow different than Cuba

Find a flaw, both systems have a circular flow of the economy, its just "visually" different

It's crazy how much he and trudeau look alike

I guess cause they're both commies

Pinochet
>However, Pinochet was arrested under an international arrest warrant on a visit to London on 10 October 1998 in connection with numerous human rights violations. Following a legal battle he was released on grounds of ill-health, and returned to Chile on 3 March 2000. In 2004, Chilean Judge Juan Guzmán Tapia ruled that Pinochet was medically fit to stand trial and placed him under house arrest.[8] By the time of his death on 10 December 2006, about 300 criminal charges were still pending against him in Chile for numerous human rights violations during his 17-year rule, and tax evasion and embezzlement during and after his rule;[18] he was accused of having corruptly amassed at least $28 million USD.[19]

Wow what a man.

Thanks for clearing that up, I thought he was calling me underaged by the way I phrased it or something.

>Capitalist system
>>When you work they give you good boy points (aka, money)
>This is somehow different than Cuba
God damn, you're a fucking imbecile.

>pinochet killed communists to save his country
>castro dies on pinochet's birthday
its like pottery

Kinda. It was already one of the lesst shitty places in the Caribbean and it's held that title. Still has really low standard of living compared to other western nations and a absolute dogshit government with garbage restrictions.

Once Castro #2 dies who knows maybe they'll have a change in government.

Pinochet saved his country and then promptly sold it out to the (((Chicago Boys))) who used his people as lab rats to test their stupid fucking economic theories.

Cannot unsee bearded Trudeau's face in this picture.

In Cuba all productions and wealth belongs to a few rich people, the US is more socialist than Cuba, as in the people have more ownership and power.

In Cuba someone produces 5 breads, they get 1 crumb for trade in currency.

Chile will be typical third world latin american country in 10 years, pinochet wasted his time on that shitskin state.

Cuba was ranked probably 6th or so in the world in terms of prosperity at the time.

youtube.com/watch?v=rY9fhMRk_DI

>An Amerifat argues about inequality in Cuba

This is hilarious

This, fuck Pinochet

Good, I want shitskins to suck, go become venezuela stupid brown indio.

...

You sound retarded enought to have voted for bachelet or even meo

lel wut

cuba would have ended up exactly like haiti without him. all those mexican cartel and columbian cartel beheading videos would have come out of cuba.

anyone who is anti-globalist should be pro castro. you have to be either a jew or a brainwashed retard to hate castro

>In Cuba the wealth is owned by a few people
>In USA the wealth is owned by a few people

So why do you argue its really different then?

Not that I like populist socialists like Allende or Chavez. But the choice between selling out to Jews or being a Venezuela shithole its pretty shit anyway.

>people ride on top of tanks not for transportation but to be "human sacrifices"

lol fuckoff even nazis have clips of infantry riding on top of tanks.

reminds me of that "BARREL BOMBS FOR KIDS" shit the un said about assad

In Cuba 99% of all the wealth is owned by a few, in the US the wealth is more parity.

wtf are you talking about, Cuba was prosperous before castro.
youtube.com/watch?v=jNixpGx4AV8

check Human development index and UN stats for hunger

it's literally Canada with Haiti's economy, pretty impressive desu

>inb4 commie

Not for the majority of cubans though.

Don't mock my daddy!
