>Aleppo captured before Mosul My fucking sides Obama shitter shattered Legacy destroyed

because the iraqi army is much more secretive about what they do.
And when they arent, they report 100% bullshit.
Last time i checked, they claimed that they have killed 2300 ISIS fighters, destroyed 600 VBIEDs, as well as almost a hundred tanks and will also capture mosul in 2 weeks
Carter Collins
ah shit I'll leave it like it is, you can take me to aushwitz and gas me all night long, my mistake
Sebastian Carter
Syria newfag here.
What's the best place to learn the basics of the situation? Are OP's sources valid?
Jaxson Cooper
But the first one is right. Many people will just search Syria for the general and nothing will appear.

I'm 99% sure that ISIS has at least 3:1 ratio vs PMU if you don't count airstrkes.
Bentley Sullivan
the fighting is very heavy with very slow advances.
and the iraqi army always over exaggerates its gains so...

You can ask me, I'm still here

The other side is ISIS reporting, which is very imformative and ISIS makes many reports from all of its fronts every day, as well as making videos every now and then.
/sg/ is honestly a thread about all conflicts, not just syria

Not a regular browser here.
Does this new Aleppo offensive essentially spell doom for the rebels if successful? Is there any way they can really hope to hold onto any of the city? And what will probably happen with the Kurds when the rebels are vanquished, would the government hold its truce?
Anthony Carter
>government assault on sheikh saeed repulsed >over 30 afghan mercenaries taken prisoner by FSA >assadist forces massacre 50 civilians assad must go soon turkey will break the siege and congress will force obama to up the pressure on the regime
Jaxson Long
That little grey dot in the red kinda looks like Hungary and I got really spooked.
Jason Brooks
For the next two hours we serve at the /sg/ all you can eat buffet fresh rebel denial. After that you can delectate yourself with the finest freshest rebel tears. Enjoy your meal lads!
Nicholas Russell
Is there a comprehensive 5-60min video that outlines the situation well without being biased against Assad/Russia?
I find the term "moderate rebels" to be an oxymoron.
Levi Thompson
мчc field bakery edition of course

>government assault on sheikh saeed repulsed If that is your way of saying they lost 80%+ of the district and are fighting for their lives, then yes. >mmmh, fresh denial, so tasty, so salty

i didn't watch it and i won't but is it true that john cantlie appears in the video?
"John Cantlie appearing in the latest #ISIS media 'Impact of Bullets' from Ninawa. First appearance since beginning of Mosul battles.. #Iraq"
He's apparently not a hostage apparently, last time we saw him he was talking how ISIS is the best thing ever.
Either it's another case of stockholm syndrome, or hes just doing it to avoid being assasinated.
But he's not a hostage at all anymore.

But yes, he does appear in the start of the video (very unclear if its actually him though)

The most comprehensive source should be >southfront.org/ Just scroll trough what you're interested in.

You seem to be new here, thats the usual denial, in like two hours they'll quietly change the subject, usually after government videos start to drop in.

Nah, it's a game of chiken. Nothing substanital will come of it, at worst russia will lob a missle into the launch site of the missle test and be done with it.

Bentley Martin
>Does this new Aleppo offensive essentially spell doom for the rebels if successful?
Yes, when the SAA liberate the rest of Aleppo, 40k troops will be free to open the front to Idlib, there is no way the jihadists can handle a 40k battle-hardened SAA force at this point.
>Is there any way they can really hope to hold onto any of the city?
No, they are rapidly collapsing all around the city.
>And what will probably happen with the Kurds when the rebels are vanquished, would the government hold its truce?
They will enter in some sort of negotiation with the government, maybe forging some alliance to counter the turkshit backed jihadists.
Samuel Reed
have a question for /sg/, I don't frequent this place so please bear with me.

lmao kurdishmind it seems, sorry for not reading the thread

No doubts that he's not like the other hostages: he somehow got much more liberty and ISIS even let him drive an Islamic Police motorbike with an ISIS fighter in Mosul.
There were french hostages who (we (by "we" i mean the civilians) still don't know how and why) got freed by ISIS, and they said that john cantlie has been detained with them for a time.
But why did ISIS give him such "privileges" and didn't behead him?
Oliver Rivera
Nothing. Kurds are cooperative, while there are many actual enemies still in large numbers.

Its truth not bait, but pretend what you want pinko fucks That's the most unamerican thing I've ever heard, both Russia and America WANT to go to war and have since WW2 and you're lying to yourself if you say otherwise. Nobody wants to be the first one to make the move though because muh nuclear holocaust Shut the fuck up faggot, Russia is the ultimate Jew and has been ever since they killed their royal family I have no delusion that what we did was right you cunt >Didn't coordinate As soon as we started we were coordinating with the ruskies, but because you're all Russiboo commie cucks you ignore the fact that the Russian commander coordinating with us found out they were actually SA military and then waited a half hour to fucking say anything. Did they know we were doing it ahead of time? Its definitely possible but for argument sake let's say no, does that excuse the fact that they found out and knew we got our logistics wrong yet didn't say a god damn word for over 30 minuets? There's an old saying, "Never let your enemy know he is making a mistake." Noe tell me, to what benefit does Russia have letting us bomb SA forces? Or a better question, why the fuck was the SA fighters in question out of uniform and "fighting like ISIS" as per accounts by US forces? Could it have been them trying to be stealthy and using it to sneak up on ISIS and rebel forces for better striking positions? Sure, but how much of it is it a stretch to say that Russia told them to do so in hopes that the US would attack them? I seriously hope you and the rest of the faggots here don't think Russiastan's endeavors in Syria are for wholesome and pure justice I mean I know you guys love sucking Putins cock but you can't be that delusional
>He says as tanks and infantry roll through the area.
Even the (((media))) had to admit its over for the "rebels".
Tyler Gonzalez
this pic is retarded anyway and I hope no one here takes it seriously it's not fair to compare democratically elected people with term limits to a ruler like assad
>this war seems to had been very interesting War itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't as expirimental as this one is. It was above average militia vs below average army. While this is an expirienced mercenary corps vs above average army, with backing of, I guess I get to call russia superpower now, superpowers.
In ukraine the most amusing were the endless UN bitching and moaning.

Anyone remember that AJ faggot from twitter? He still holds the #1 spot for rebel shitposter, and that says something.

Not all of them are democratic leaders, as well it's not only that they arent in office, more so that their entire legacy has been destroyed.
Obamas legacy is going to get obliterated, his gun policy is going to get removed, obama care will be abolished, as well as his foreign policy.
Cameron wanted britain in the EU, but britain is now going out of the EU.
