From what I can see he comes from a banking family. His dad worked with Goldman Sachs, and probably got him a job there. He made 40 million over his life and worked for some partners during Goldman periods like Soros. In general he just worked at banks and funded movies. He's a Republican, although he's never actually worked in politics at all. He was also one of the first people who work in banking to jump on Trump's campaign, then he ran one of the most financially efficient campaigns in US history.
