Can't go wrong with this:

What do you want to know more about user? You can't expect anything good to come from a piece of shit thread like this.

Checked and kek'd

stop with the substantials

...

just read the forum. its a vastly superior communication medium. seriously, there is no reason to read old books on obsolete ideas.

If you're into fiction, this is a must

...

>Raskolnikov's article

Thanks for the suggestions so far everyone.

Has anyone else read Matrix Warrior: Being the One? I picked it up randomly at the airport to tide me over on a flight, but it has some legit interesting ideas on how we have all sorts of systems of control imposed on us. Not only external, but internal. It only really uses the Matrix more or less as a visual aid.

Long but a must read.

starship troopers. if you have not read this book, you need to read it tomorrow

Read Plato first.
Plato's Republic is pretty good.

Plato was a total fag and so was Socrates compared to Diogenes but at least Pl8o wrote something down.

Diogenes is best Greek philosopher who trolled Plato and the other Academy faggots constantly but NOTHING HE WROTE SURVIVES FUCK. All we have of him was pretty much written down by Plato which makes it funnier because Plato just bitches about him. Diogenes was the root of all Australians. Criminal, trolling, and yet brilliant in his own autistic way.

Also Pl8to advocates for serious gains and self analysis.

>Diogenes was the root of all Australians.
fucking kek
I limit my reading exclusively to ancient hermetic texts and eastern poetry like the daodejing

Try this one

if you actually want to learn something

Diogenes was a master troll, but I don't think even he managed to capture that magical balance that Australians have with what they do.

Not that I've read many of these, but they seem like good suggestions.

...

For anything, the basic red pill is The Bell Curve. Then Eugenics: A Reassessment. Also Culture of Critique trilogy is good.

Just finishing up The Gulag Archipelago right now; no idea what I'll do next though.

Thanks for the suggestions.

>"Plato was discoursing on his theory of ideas and, pointing to the cups on the table before him, said while there are many cups in the world, there is only one idea of a cup, and this cupness precedes the existence of all particular cups. "I can see the cup on the table," interrupted Diogenes, "but I can't see the cupness". "That's because you have the eyes to see the cup," said Plato, "but", tapping his head with his forefinger, "you don't have the intellect with which to comprehend cupness." Diogenes walked up to the table, examined a cup and, looking inside, asked, "Is it empty?" Plato nodded. "Where is the emptiness which precedes this empty cup?" asked Diogenes. Plato allowed himself a few moments to collect his thoughts, but Diogenes reached over and, tapping Plato's head with his finger, said "I think you will find here is the emptiness."

Once you take the ultimate redpill and realize that space is an ontic entity in its own right, nothing else will matter.

>$45 paperback
What is it even about?

holy. shit. it's not possible for me to love this man anymore than I already do

read it.

the metaphysics of space

The problem is that it's relatively easy to be Diogenese and just punch holes in wet paper bags all day.

It takes all kinds to be sure, but at some point actionable improvements need to be made. Otherwise, you just fall off the Saul Alinsky side of the apple cart into lucifarianism.

>Das Kapital
>The Communist Manifesto
>The Anarchist's Cookbook
>1984
>A Brave New World
>The Moon is a Harsh Mistress

And then you should be good to go, comrade.

Source of quote?

heres a tase

It never stopped.
Constant bants until the day he died. (thrown out of the city, actually).

>Diogenes was once asked what he thought of Socrates. "A madman," he replied. Later, Plato was asked what he thought of Diogenes. "A Socrates gone mad," he replied. Diogenes ridiculed Plato for being long-winded.

>Some strangers to Athens once asked Diogenes if he would point out to them the great philosopher (i.e., Plato). Diogenes looked around and then led them to the most deserted part of the city and, gesturing to the empty air as one would in formal introduction, said, "May I present to you the great philosopher Plato."

>Plato had just defined Man as an animal, biped and featherless, and was applauded. Diogenes plucked a fowl and brought it into the lecture-room with the words, "Here is Plato's man." Plato was forced to amend his definition by adding quickly: "and having broad nails."

The only good list on this thread, and it's from/lit/

The Kingdom of God is Within You

Looking Backward is the best socialist book. Bellamy never called it that though. He called it nationalism.

>good
Thats not how you spell retarded

I was given the abridged Gulag Archipelago, do you suggest I read that or the Three volume series?

Nothing from /lit/ is good.

I've read it bofore, this is the source I found for the copy paste.

>Das Kapital

I know you are trolling but he wrote an excellent critique of capitalism, regardless of politics its something that should be read

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

He interviewed people like Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford, John D. Rockefeller and a bunch of other men who made America great. Supposedly the book contains the secret to their success, but you can be the judge of that.

Shove one up your ass. Communism is inherently flawed and will never work. Its ideas like yours that got much of my family killed all because you based your whole system that humans inherently want to help each other.

The ones I read were paired as I and II, then III and IV. Do the first pair first, it will take a lot of time.

We need more Diogenes in the world I think.

I'll have to google Saul Alinsky and lucifarianism.

I didn't know it came in parts. I have an old printing from decades back, and it's one of the most pleasant books I've read.

What a breath of fresh air to read a bit of fiction and literature during the chore of historical documentation.

People who haven't read Das Kapital call it Das Kapital when really they mean Volume I, because they have no idea how the work is even structured, what parts were published, etc. It's like morons who suggest you read the Bible. What, the whole thing?

...

It's actually 4 installations, but they are paired into 2 separate books, 2 pair per volume.

...

Rules for Radicals would be the go-to starting point. One of the two dedications at the beginning is to Lucifer.

It's a good and practical book, but it also evinces what a base mindset the Jews have (Jew with "Sky" last name means Russian Jew). Know your enemy.

Good stuff. I'd like to know what's going through the heads of people tossed out of helicopters (besides the ground)

here you go comrade

Becoming a Barbarian by Jack Donovan,

Fairly good book, I would recommend it. It's basically about men and social groups.

I would read his earlier work, The Way of Men, first though.
(also about men and social groups).

>Its ideas like yours that got much of my family killed
Yeah, sure.
Even if half your family died under a commie regime (which I seriously doubt), idgaf. People die because of Capitalism, too. Get over it.

Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Not very long but is definitely worth checking out.

my niggah

Why not skip all these and just read the Talmud

Itoh died too young.

He was a brilliant man.

I had an older Romanian as a roommate, once he told me about living in communist Romania.

Nothing but endless distribution lines that would take hours to get through to get a small bag of fucking nothing.

While the statists spend their time drafting petitions to the government to mandate that people close their windows and shutter off natural sunlight so that the candlemakers are not "unfairly" competed against by the sun.

>Nothing but endless distribution lines that would take hours to get through to get a small bag of fucking nothing.
As opposed to modern, capitalist Romania which is the same fucking thing except you have to work 10 hours for the bags of nothing.

Is Gravity's Rainbow right-wing or left-wing? Or neither?

>Communist =/= Statist

dam shame, cant wait for them to make his first book into a film got a theater near that shows limited release stuff. was lucky got to see harmony and empire of corpses when they released I thought they did great job with the film adaptations.

I'm the guy who says 'no' - what do you do senpai?

...

why don't you just fucking read it and make up your own mind.

You don't need approval from a chinese basket weaving forum to read a book

"The Great Illusion"
By
Norman Angell

A book in which the author perfectly lays out the nuances of society and the fundamental flaws of egalitarian democracy
And then...
He proceeds completely ignore gis logic, preferring instead to continue to have faith in the plebocratic utopian ideas we now attribute to our inferiors.

if you wanna go the sick in the head route just read The Illuminati Formula Used to Create an Undetectable Total Mind Controlled Slave

Same evidence as the poster before me: I know a guy in Romania.

Also anything written by this man.

A muslim nationalist named Mohamed Iqbal of indian heritage.

His writings, regardless of your personal opinion, Illustarate why islam is such a threat to the world as a whole.

An ideology that is inexorably married to the two concepts of physical expantion and mental stagnation.

It is essentially the perfect fascist society but for the single point of failure that the priorities of that society are parasitic in nature renedering human kind a sterile theocracy waiting for extinction if islam were ever to take full control of the world.

I let you say no, as long as doing so is not coercive to others.
For instance: You would be more than welcome to not participate in a shared society, but you would not be allowed to go appropriate a public park for your "Free State".

Really? OK. The trailers looked like shit.

Basically, I treat Harmony as a serious thing. I think the whole medium of anime is just probably spelling doom.

gutenberg.org/files/21291/21291-h/21291-h.htm

>public park
So long as it's actually owned. If the public park is "owned" in the same way as Antarctica is "owned" then you can go fuck yourself if I decide I'm going to appropriate some of the area as my own *actually* legitimate property.

I've got a mega link with a shitton of pol related books, if anyone is interested.

If you claim the park like people claim Antarctica, I'm not impeding on anyone by making things there into actual property.

You have been sufficiently pilled.
