Also you are referring to the sermon on the mount. let me give you the full quote so you can be less of a cuck in future.
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy,[l] your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy,[m] your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."
biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew 5-7
What this means is simple. You can work and love god and you can be wealthy and love god. Solomon demonstrates this through wisdom. Job demonstrates this through devotion.
But you cannot love money for moneys sake and love god. This lesson is simple and one that many 'money gurus' share day and night. Money means nothing by itself, its the person and the idea and the work of turning the idea to reality. Earning cash for a negative reason like avoiding anxiety is stupid in light of this. In this sense, you can be a multimillionaire or business magnate and love god, but you must not be afraid to use your money.
God says "faith without love is dead" it is the same thing.
Remember the parable of the talents
He also said:
Matthew 25: 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
The sermon is to say, money must move because its useless without movement and represents a corrupt spirit that serves money.
