Everyone is rightfully mocking the recounts because she has pretty much no chance of winning all three states.....but what if that isn't the end goal?
All they have to do is tie up MI, WI, and PA in recounts so their results don't get certified. Until the results are certified they cannot cast electoral votes. Without them casting electoral votes Trump cannot become president (neither can anyone else). Constitutional crises ensues. All they have to do is stall one county in each state for 50 days.
The left is trying anything they can to stop him from being president. Is this so far off to be unreasonable for them to attempt it?

I've read how this recount thing is supported by the Clinton campaign to sow doubts about Trump's legitimacy as president so that Hillary supporters and democrats feel the election was stolen from them and Hillary can run again in 2020.

If they don;t certify their votes,that does not stop the other states from certifying theirs, nor the electors from other states from voting. If the three states do not vote, Trump still has over half of the votes that would be cast, and wins. (You don't need 270 if not everybody appoints their electors.)
But, what happens in the real world is that, when the deadline to certify votes arrives, they certify the best count they have -- if a recount ahs not been completed, they certify what they got.
