I find it strange how Tulsi Gabbard got the Trump's teams attention when her only claim to fame was being against intervention in Syria and not backing Hillary Clinton during the primaries, yet Webb has gone unnoticed (at least as far as we know) and has yet to meet with Trump.
This speech does at least show him more qualified than the likes of Romney, Bolton, and Guiliani. Its strange that Webb's name has not come up at all for a cabinet position.
The more we bring him up and keep him in the spotlight, the better.

My pet theory is that Webb is being passed over for cabinet positions so that he can be offered Secretary of the Navy. He's the perfect guy for it. Jim Webb held the position during Ronald Reagan's 600-ship navy initiative, perhaps the most ambitious shipbuilding project of the modern era. Putting Webb back in that position would have huge symbolic punch. The current SoN is a disaster who has squandered the Navy's funding on memes like the LCS. He has to go, and Webb is the perfect guy to replace him.

Trump has been consistent in saying that he wants to raise the cap for military spending and expand the Navy specifically. Republicans in the house have already killed force reduction planes that the Donkeys had planned for next year.
I think that Webb should definitely be Secretary of State. I came up with my Secretary of Navy idea to rationalize why he wasn't on the list.
He might also be under consideration for Secretary of Veteran's Affairs.
He's been working tirelessly on behalf of vets rights and benefits since he left the service.

This thread is the point of divergence in history. For some of us we will live in the SecState Jim Web Universe, for others they will not.
He mentions that it changed the demographics of the country, and that programs meant to only help African Americans, have now gone on to help most non-white demographics, and the irony of there being talk of white privlege despite there being a very large white underclass.
We both know that SVA is one of the less powerful positions in the cabinet.

3/4 of those spots is already taken. Secretary of State is the last chance to get Webb in a real cabinet position.
I don't think it is. Trump's cabinet will probably fluctuate much more than prior presidents.
Let's not forget that Trump is apparently a man that likes hiding his plans. All of his choices so far may very well be false flags and they may be replaced later on just to keep his numerous political enemies guessing.
