ive been working out for a while now and god damn when im done i feel like GOD! its been what, 9 months or so and im finally seeing great results (i wasnt fat before) when i look in the mirror and see a beast i feel great. i also have an attractive face so that helps en the fact that if you work out like a beast you can eat like one to. I got 3-4 days strength training 2 days HIIT but I don't hit the gym i got a pullup bar machine that allows for dips etc. There is literally no excuse for not working out.

If you are already skinny dont bother running (yet). I was extremely skinny and couldn't put on weight for the life of me. You need strength training every day and once you get up in the morning you do it and its over you feel great for the rest of the day.

No martial art will, all those cool disarming arts rely on fine motor skills that are useless during a fight, you need gross motor skills, such as boxing. If someone comes at you with a weapon you either run or get a bigger or more powerful one. About the numbers part you are right, that why user said to take the 3 combat arts. Boxing and kicboxing give you amazing footwork that can help you evade attacks and that are full contact sports that give you pain resistance and conditioning.
