>Det. Sgt. Steve Ryan told CP24 the victim was last heard from on Wednesday evening. She is a family physician who works at The Scarborough Hospital.
>A suspect identified as Mohammed Shamji, 40, of Toronto was arrested and charged on Friday. Ryan said he was taken into custody at a coffee shop in the area of Lakeshore Road East and Highway 10 in Mississauga.
>Mohammed is also a doctor, a neurosurgeon who works at Toronto Western Hospital. Ryan said the couple had been married for approximately 12 years.
