Try going into a Service Canada and saying "Merry Christmas" to any employee. If they don't say "Happy Holidays" in response, I'd be shocked shitless. My mother who works for the Government started complaining a few years back that they're not allowed to say Merry Christmas to anyone anymore because it's "insensitive".
