Free trade with a nation with lower standards for wages, environmental regulations or safety/living standards will always favor the nation with lower standards. They can produce shit for cheaper, so your industry goes to them.
Meanwhile you can't employ the lower skilled portions of your own workforce, so your own purchasing power goes down. The only answer is to pray that you can somehow make up that differences in technology and skilled labor. Which never works, because for every person capable of being a skilled laborer there are 4 unskilled laborers.
Our immigrants are what make us wealthy and give us any hope at a birthrate at all. Immigrants to Canada are on average more wealthy, successful, and commit less crime because we have a "buy your way in" system combined with an ocean barrier. We should only expand this strategy.

We don't need a nationalist party in Canada we need a nationalist movement. Think about this like the left's environmentalist movement, first we need to build on the movement, organize and try to start influencing political parties. If that isn't enough then maybe we can look at our own party but there needs to be a strong movement in place first for that to be viable. Besides with FPTP there really isn't room in Canada for right wing parties.

You can't split the conservative vote, because its already on shaky ground as it is, and thats with a 3 way liberal vote split.
The second problem is that nationalism is basically unheard of in Canada, and it gets worse by the year. Canadians don't have a united culture, they're taught that multiculturalism IS our culture in our schools. You need to start building support with ideas like Canadian tax dollars going to fund Canadians first, advertising and spreading Canadian achievements, making Canadian history interesting and engaging.
All of this is a tremendous uphill battle. The CBC won't put actual Canadian content on the air ever again, and will continue to fund shows about immigrants until they lose all their funding or have all their leadership replaced. The school system is completely overrun by leftists, and will need to be carefully infiltrated and dismantled. The economic idea have their groundwork already in place, you just need to make it acceptable to say in public.
This is all shit I've been saying for YEARS. But none of our political parties have enough balls to make big those big changes.

Industries like banking rely on the quantity of transactions, not the quality, so their business model relies on an influx of human beings. Toronto alone takes in between 150-200k a year.
Unfunded liabilities are the next problem. Canada's parasitic boomer class are rabidly defending their rice bowls, and they will import millions to fund their luxurious retirement. Of course, the welfare state will collapse and their strategy will prove self defeating, but boomers have never been known for their introspection.
