Morality - prescriptive judgments of justice, rights...

Morality - prescriptive judgments of justice, rights, and welfare pertaining to how people ought to relate to each other.

95% of people say that you SHOULD kill the one in Trolley (by pulling the
lever), thereforce, 95% of people say that if they was on the tracks, you SHOULD kill him.

95% of people say that you SHOULD NOT kill the one in Fat Man, therefore, 95% of people say that if they was on the tracks, you SHOULD NOT kill one in Fat Man to save them.

>you SHOULD kill him
you SHOULD kill them to save 5.

fat people aren't really human so...

"killing saves lives" is propaganda and you know it.

You don't fully understand the consciousness of your actions. What if this change of tracks leads to something worse?

Adding OC too.

obligatory.

I agree with this, the immediate solution is myopic and you never know what your well-intentioned actions will affect down the line.

In a scenario like that it would be best to not involve yourself, or try to stop the train or make some futile effort to save everyone.

In a theoretical situation where I literally have to chose one or the other, it depends on who is in what group. A young woman is going to get saved over 4 older men, because thats what society would expect the better outcome to be.

!$&(*&*%@^$)^
NUMBER MORALITY

wait wait wait wait, how do we know we aren't in a country where death by trolley is a judicial punishment for heinous crimes?

HISTORY YES

This post is trash. Your english is absolute shit. Come back later when you write a coherent post.

COHERENCE IS OF NO MORAL CHOICE
REGARD THE MACARONI MORGUE BUS

we should all know the horror of trench warfare. maybe then we would not be so callous about leaving a man behind.

Fixed for realism

The very premise of the trolly problem is heretical because it seeks the reduction of human life into a quantive value when the dignity of humans life is a metaphysical subject. (Note as it pertains to strictly metaphyiscal philosophy. While there is overlap issues such as economic, medical, employment, etc are a separate issue and outside the scope of the trolly problems intent)

Being an isolated system is also retarded as it creates a false dichotomy. Babies first moral dilemma that's only used by pseudo intellectual and blow off philosophy clases.

The fat man, by saying he don't want to die to save 5 people, when the guy tied up alone said he should die, shows me how selfish the fat man is. Maybe because he is a fat fuck, maybe not, but it's enough to kill him for me.

This whole question is meaningless. The number of lives per se doesn't make any difference. For anything we know, the bigger group could be niggers. Or your kin. Whole different implications. In the absence of no further information, what difference does it make? Democracy is only for the weak.
