Our dimension through some inexplicable reason splits itself into two alternative universes, one in which only men exist and one in which only women exist.

What would happen to societies within the first few weeks and months? What would happen after years or decade?

Reproduction should not be part of this discussion, let's just assume that both alternative universes are capable of artificial insemination or the production of artificial wombs so off-spring is not the issue. The off-spring in those universes has the gender that lives on that planet.

There's an episode of survivor that pretty much covers this. The men have built shelter, made a fire, and have plenty of food and relative luxuries set up. The women end up wet, starving, and huddled under a tree until the film crew bails them out.

The difference between a show like that and the OP's proposed scenario is a look to the future.
The men in the Survivor know that they will go home and the better they perform, the more prestige they get, and the easier it is for them to impress women. Just like the women know that if the things go to shit, men will come out from nowhere and help them. They're not taking a prestige hit, if anything they're more likely to attract a mate by being helpless and invoking a primal sense of protection in men.


In an all-male universe, there would be no need to work hard to impress anyone, mating is pointless and all you get is doing things out of sheer competetiveness. It would turn more extreme with every passing generation until there are a few ultra-elites using the masses in a real-life strategy game to kill each other for inane reasons.


Women would simply get depressed and there wouldn't be any men to help them out. They would kill themselves.
