He has basically. Listen to his recent podcast on Radix, he spent a lot of time on this very issue. He describes old-school natsoc as "villainous larping" that does nothing but turn people. He also said things like, "maybe hilter was the man for 1933, but this is 2016, we need a new kind of movement.
I'm just sort of baffled by this criticism considering Spencer's entire schtick is pretty much shifting the focus of the White Nationalist movement from conspiracy theories and nazi worship to white identity consciousness and the ideal of the ethnostate. Spencer's entire career has been about building white people not bitching about the jews and whoever else.
