yesterday's thread was a huge success, I got lots of feedback and the game looks better than ever.
Current Progress: I've added health bar and a score. Commies now attack you you can kill commies with bricks to the face
game goals: proper ladder support comfortable difficulty level 6-8 levels, republican candidates 2 levels democrat candidates 1 level george soros
current levels being worked on:
Rubots robots: populated by: commiebots end boss: rubot location: new england goals: build city background, add end boss
Wall Street: populated by: mechsicans end boss: rato locaton US-Mexico boarder goals: wall slowly builds in background as you fight through hoards of Mechsicans crossing the boarder add end boss

Most importantly the jumps feel way too floaty, make him go up faster and come down harder to add some gravity.

it's going to be like megaman (hence the name magaman) you fight through 6-8 stages with the final boss being the republican front runners then after getting enough delegates from them (50%) you fight saunders, if you get 75% you fight hillary, once you've done that you fight soros
it's just a normal platformer really
yes I'm still building the levels and everything, once you get to the end it's suppose to take you to a debate stage with the repub you'll be fighting

this is the full level as is but im going to add some hills and platforms you gotta climb over, im thinking about changing the fire mechanism so you have to click the button every time you fire, so if you hold it down it charges, and the brick becomes a small wall

I'm gonna check it out. Another thing is I like the sprite work so it wont hurt to zoom in and show it off. Everything's pretty small right now, and hard to see. I don't know how hard this would be but I think just scaling up or zooming in would look better.

Mild complaint, takes too many damn hits to kill a mexican. Triple the number of enemies and cut the health pool to 2 hits.

Your jumping is a bit too floaty like another user said, mega man has a slightly heavier drop and faster upward hop with less control. The brick physics is cool but not as fun as a typical platformer's attacks are Using the arrow keys to jump (and even duck) is way more intuitive than using A. I think polishing your animations for the mexicans would be more important than adding new guys, just get your mechanics down pat.
Is this unity or gamemaker? I get the feeling it's one of those two that's all.
cool concept though I hope you can make your project fun and maybe profitable with ads and shit

I'd add that Trump and the Mexicans right now have two different art styles that don't really mix. Trump has very pronounced black shadows while the Mexicans have no black in their sprite.

I usually do sound design and audio engineering like where you do editing and mastering to bring it to a professional level. If you need a song I might be able to help but composition isn't usually my thing.
Easiest thing in the meantime for music would be songs you think that might be a good fit that have already been midi mapped.
