Is the alt-right shrinking?

There's been a lot of talk since Trump's election about the state of the alt-right. Several people such as Paul Joseph Watson and Mike Cernovich have come out and said that they were never part of it, and that the 'true' alt-right is actually very small.

In contrast to that, the leftwing media seems obsessed with the 'growing threat of the alt-right' and the influx of hate crimes which no one with an average or above IQ believes are actually happening.

The overall result of this is that it's getting increasingly harder to tell just how big the movement is, which is frustrating when arguing with people about its influence over politics. so I was hoping someone could direct me to the members of the alt-right with the biggest online profiles, preferably people who have explicitly stated their support, although (((subtle))) hints are fine too, so I can present a better idea of the scale of the movement.

pic related is some oc styx for your time

I'm alt right, but can't stand most alt rightists and their pages on kikebook. There is a lot of insincerity and unneeded edginess in the movement.

Alt right is nothing, just a bullshit label liberals like using to group up individuals to spit hate at.

alt right is a jewish term thats only used by CIA plants/shills, mainstream media, inbred retards, and ledditors. you have to go back

The alt-right reminds me of when I went to the occupy wall street protests in Los Angeles.

It was just me and a couple of my buddies with a suitcase full of booze and a tent and we camped out on the lawn of the Los Angeles capitol building for two weeks smoking weed and fucking hippies.

Anyways.

What I found so interesting about that movement is how many different faces it had. You had the Ron Paul republicans who wore suits usually, the socialists who wanted to be more like Europe, the retarded fucking communists whos stereotypes about them are 100% true. Everyone was mad about american fascism (in the traditional sense of the word - mixture of government and corporatism) but everyone had different solutions. It ended up just becoming about identify politics (LATINOS UNIOS WILL NEVER BE DEFEATOS) and shit like that. It ended up fizzling out.

It never existed, the MSM created the term so they could paint everyone who opposed them as a racist/bigot/my-soggy-knees-t. Random people started popping up and accepting the label as if the "alt-right" was actually a thing and now people are starting to realize that, that was what happened so they're abandoning the badge.

> Be liberal
> Invent Alt-right boogeyman
> Claim X group is alt-right
> Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together says they're not
Hi CTR please leave.

The alt-right is the same way. Sup Forums is definitely huge parts of the alt right and most people really underestimate how many people browse and post here, but we are extremely fragmented.

>Sup Forums thinks my post is spam so im breaking this up into smaller posts to figure out why the fuck its filtering this

(Cont...)

Alt-right is just a meme steriotype the midia gave us so the could label us in such and such way.

To hell with the alt-right or any other form of denomination.

We are Sup Forumsacks and national-populists.

The rest is just bullshit.

Similarly to OWS there are literal nazis and mad-max like libertarians. The only thing that really ties us all together is nationalism, traditional family values and extreme freedom of speech.

There are people who have co-opted the movement like Milo, Cernovitch, Steven Molenyuyxzxkj etc, but the ideas behind the alt-right existed before them and will definitely exist after them.

It all depends how to next four years ago with Trump in the white house. Its really hard to predict if he's just going to have an "okay" presidency or if he is going to have a reagan sweep his next term. But what we do know is that the media is not going to let up. If you've been reading the mainstream news since the election you'll notice that they have double'd down on the hate because not as many people are watching the news now that the election is over and they are taking a major ratings hit. They've learned that apologetically flinging shit is the best way to get views / money.

So like I said, the alt-right in mainstream politics depends on Trumps presidency.

The alt-right was a catch all term originally for anyone who didn't like Hillary online. Now it's used as a boogeyman against retarded leftists by the media. There is no alt-right and there never was.

Its not really a movement. Its an idea. Communism is not very influential in the world any longer but its ideas have continued to spread and change and affect a myriad of institutions, sub cultures, and individuals.

To those claiming that the alt-right never existed, what are your thoughts on someone like Richard Spencer, who proudly uses the term to describe himself. Is he controlled opposition? a useful idiot?

Literally who?

Alt right is just a buzzword for "young person with right-wing views"

Nobody who was labeled "alt-right" has gone or abandoned their views and everyone's still here

There is no alt-right, it was always the majority mainstream.

Thats because the Alt Right is just mainstream conservatism now, no longer alternative

Alt-right is a label for people that liberals disagree with.

There was an alt-right before, and it had nothing to do with us. And now that we're the more popular group, the old shields are separating themselves as much as possible from us to avoid controversy.

I.E, the same spineless, shame-bullying that liberals love to abuse.

The alt-right doesn't exists. It's a bullshit term that was coined by God-knows-who and reused by the media because "nationalist", "ultra-nationalist" and 'far-right" weren't scary enough anymore.

Check the sub-groups of this so called "alt-right" if you want to give a more precise name to your political ideology. I tell people that I am a neoreactionary, not a alt-righter.

I don't care just bring me burgers and good entertainment.

Total fucking shill. All of a sudden this faggot just appeared one day after the election saying he was a leader in the alt-right? I never even seen or heard of this nigger before. I don't know who his masters are but he can go fuck himself.

Thanks

does the alt-right even exist?

normies seem to label everyone that doesn't disagree with them that

it's like the new racist

The alt-right never existed. It was the Tea Party of this election.

The alt-right does exist.
They're nutjobs that are ignored like any other nutjob group (I.E. the alt-left I.E. the mainstream media)

There was never any alt-right. It's just a bunch of teenagers on the internet who hate conservatives yet feel compelled to find a way to rebel against their liberal parents.

>Believing in the alt-right buzzword meme.
