Redpill me on universal healthcare

redpill me on universal healthcare

It costs money, so taxes need to be universally raised

what's the inherent problem with this?

failure

The free market has shown to be cheaper and more efficient in the States. If you want an example of universal healthcare here look at the VA and tell me if you want to get checked out there

what about people who can't afford insurance?

Good if you're poor, bad if you're rich.
Unless you have some kind of selfless lifestyle like some rich/poor have.

do you want to pay for shaniqua's 45th abortion? Do you want to pay for Linda's 5th doctor visit because she was feeling a little bit sad? Do you want to pay for some 500lb lardass to get his quadruple bypass heart surgery? if you take care of yourself, you can get a relatively cheap insurance plan and be just fine.

We already have social programs for them, and prior to the ACA we had bare bones plans for people that could only afford cheap insurance.

The redpill is this. It's anything but free. You will be spending thousands of dollars in tax money a year for shiiiiiiit coverage. You have to see a GP before anything and specialists have a wait list.

The only fucking reason universal healthcare works in europe is because America is footing the bill, giving companies incentives to make more new equipment and new drugs which the european countries bargain with and get slightly older equipment at fractions of a cost. You'll see healthcare go up across the world if the US gets a universal single payer plan.

The reality with universal care is that a lot of people will die because of a scarcity of care. Doctors are always a precious limited resource, how do you think Universal healthcare systems can handle it? They deny care to the elderly and offer lower quality procedures for a lot of stuff.

The ONLY reason healthcare in the US is fucked is because it's tied to your job. This literally makes no sense and gives the insurance company room to charge ridiculous rates. If you work at a large corp you get GREAT healthcare and you never want it to change while everyone at shittier companies get fucked.

>cherry-picking examples

>implying degenerates won't be using "free" government services more than your average tac contributor

Fuck em. They need to do better.

It's bullshit

Most people don't realize they already pay for all of these things.

My wife is an ER doc at a public hospital. She more than half of her patients are non emergency and don't pay shit. You end up paying for it though taxes or increased emergency medicine costs.

The point of universal healthcare would be to decrease missuses of emergency medicine and enable even low income poor folk to contribute some money to the system they rely on.

I really don't know if it would work, there is conflicting data both ways, but don't pretend you know for certain either.

>this is actually how conservatives think

Works well in first world countries like Australia. It would probably be shit in America.

...

Its poor people genocide

The doctors half ass everyrhing

Last time I saw a doctor she said she was busy and made me leave. Yes I had an appointment, yes I paid a very small sum of money.

Could be done but liberal elites are focused on global communism and don't give a shit about anything but the expansion of Israel.
Reminder:trump /Sanders administration is best administration

If we privatized all of healthcare and all of welfare in general the USA could EASILY recover from the national Debt. In fact we'd have a titanic surplus which could be used for economic stimulus (improvement of infrastructure and jobs) not to mention it could also be used to enhance our private sector by cutting taxes without having to cut anything else.

We might even be able to double our GDP in 10 years if we privatized healthcare and all forms of welfare.

>not helping your fellow countrymen when they are at their lowest

Why are Americans always the most unpatriotic?

>do you want to pay for shaniqua's 45th abortion?
uhm yes. it's better that then that she gives birth too more trash

Guy I know from Canada who plays hockey here broke his wrist and had to wait 6 months in Canada to get an appointment so he just came to the US and got one

Charity is fine and noble. Having authority command charity or face punitive action is anathema.

>The free market has shown to be cheaper and more efficient in the States.

It works but it's horrifically expensive to insure the bottom 10% of society who never look after themselves and seem to lack basic self-preservation.

>Having authority command charity or face punitive action is anathema.
It shouldn't be authority commanding charity. It should be the result of a democratic measure to establish a functioning and sustainable national healthcare system.

>It works but it's horrifically expensive to insure the bottom 10% of society who never look after themselves and seem to lack basic self-preservation.

Honestly, this can be solved with a good PR campaign. I'm for people being empowered. To be allowed the opportunities and to be motivated to be physically and mentally healthy.

In the US most healthcare provisions don't cover dental. Yet if someone gets an infection under a tooth, that can kill them. I'll putrefy the blood and they'll die of a heart attack if they don't get treated for it.

My state has one of the most progressive state coverage systems, and the only option for dental is extraction. Had to borrow $5000 to get a root canal.

Oh, and I paid $5000 for it and am still in constant pain because they fucked it up.

Don't have medical procedures done in the US.

>Don't have medical procedures done in the US.
Just because your doctor was a retard, that doesn't mean all are. We have some of the best hospitals in the world here. People literally fly from all over the world to get medical treatment here.

>all conservatives think the same.

>he doesn't know what medicaid is.

Fuck this thread.

>not knowing the difference between choice and force
if a hobo asks me for change I will freely give it to him
if he steals my wallet, I'll beat the shit out of him

see the difference?

greedy

werent redpill me on X threads bannable offenses under joot?

...

Don't forget how unchristian it is. Most of these conservatives spend their time here bitching about degenerates and how much they love Jesus, then immediately protest against helping their fellow man, which is one of the most sacred commandments in all Christianity
