The lardass implied that theists can't play the "burden of proof" card as well, when in reality we can if we just argue from a nihilist perspective. I made an argument and he had no counter-argument, which is why he stopped replying. Do you want to take it on? Do you have a problem with the lack of "proof" for the existence of God? Because nothing can ultimately be proven right or wrong, due to the absence of absolute certainty. This goes for science as well, which you atheists seem to put on a pedestal.

the difference I have with you is in blaming degeneracy on atheism. it was a popular argument during the "atheism boom" that people chose to lose their relgions so they could be hedonistic without guilt.
as someone who didn't lose his faith lightly, I thought those arguments were bullshit. I didn't suddenly start hating Jesus - I found myself being painfully forced out of the religion by my rational mind. if I'd stayed I'd have been a hypocrite, or lying to myself.
atheism isn't the problem - even if it leads it the problems you name. people don't choose to lose their faith, and they're at least honest in their disbelief.
most aren't going to be compelled to change their positions on those issues using theological arguments. you need to use historical examples. otherwise, each time men outperform women, or whites outperform blacks, those on the left will impose one more new law that tries to equalize society that much further.
