Why would I take a bullet? I live in a safe neighborhood, in a safe town, in a safe county, in a safe state. basically only train arms (with that also a bit of chest/back) and legs. cause I'm an autistic virgin I don't have to worry about anyone seeing my non existant core strength. And I still look like I could beat the shit out of you. I worry about the core once I'm about to get /fit/ for somebody to love (and have sex with) me.

With woman it's more about confidence. For me getting into shape is a personal battle. I do it for myself.

MMA is the best exercise. I lift wieghts. hit the bag, go on long hikes when i can. I of course like guns and have lots of them. Its coyote season now. It take fast reflexes to hit those bastards, can't hesitate for a fraction of a second.

I lift moderately and I'm getting pretty fit. I try to do more cardio but I hate it. Never held a gun.
When the happening happens I might not have the endurance to run when needed and no idea where the safety is on any gun and don't know how to aim, but I can pick up heavy things and make them go up and down if that helps.

Most people don't understand the long term effects running has on your lower body. It's a high impact exercise that should be limited in use. There are plenty of lower impact alternatives for endurance training of the lower body

Hiking is good as long as you aren't packing weight,people will put a 20 round weight in the backpack, that makes it high impact . Also hard sole books can fuck up your knees if you wear them too much . Most people tend to over do shit and that fucks you later on in life.

No. The worst fucking newbie mistake is not eating nearly enough to build muscle.

Noob gains (the first 3 months of lifting) should put you way over what that guy achieved.

Macros are the most important fucking thing when it comes to building muscle. You can lift 3 hours a day for months, but as long as your body isn't getting protein and nutrients to build muscle, you'll end up like him.

Go to /fit/, read the sticky. Focus specifically on the macros to begin with; protein, carbs and fat.

No need to be a nazi about your diet to begin with, but make sure you get enough of the macros.

Fucking remember this: one year of bulking will result in a gut, but also a fuckton of muscle underneath. Cutting the fat away is the easy part.

If you want to gain muscle, you'll also gain fat. If you're fat now, you'll get fatter.

If you're fat now, with no muscle. You'll have to do cardio in order to burn that fat and turn into a hungry skeleton. When you're a hungry skeleton, you begin as an empty canvas. That's when you start bulking to gain both muscle and fat, and you cut the fat away later on in the same way that you did the first time; all while lifting and keeping your protein intake high enough to maintain the muscle mass.

And food is the most important factor; not working out.

You will not be able to gain substantial muscle mass when you're trying to lose weight, simply because your body isn't getting the calories it needs to build that muscle. Having a proper protein intake will only sustain the muscle mass that you have; and you'll still lose some.

Both work as they're high in protein.

Just use some app like myfitnesspal to count your calories and macros. You don't have to be a nazi with your diet, but make sure you keep your calorie intake +/-200 at most, and that your macros aren't too far off.
