I have an idea, Sup Forums - what if we memed this idea that sites that have removed their comments sections have more leeway to post fake news? We could come up with a list of major news sites here with a missing comments section and maybe a good shoopfag could create a collage of the logos to pass around.
I can think of:
CNN New York Times Daily Beast
I notice that CNN and Daily Beast tend to be outrageous and bold in some of their claims.
Someone add the hashtag fake news to this image and tweet it ffs the op #fakenews threads got derailed and archived by commie faggot mod fast they are winning the fuckin Sup Forums war some of our best ideas are being tossed aside I want to cry faggots ;_;
Grayson Powell
How to meme properly though. A big part of memeing successfully is that its funny, or its poking fun at someone.
The package has to be fun, or it goes nowhere.
Ayden Young
>posts something useful delet

Gute Idee!

huffington post news weekly daily mail

bumping for potential
luckily here in Italy most of the newspapers still have it
Jaxson Roberts
This is so true!
It's fucking frustrating when these people post things that are not right and you can't fight back. You aren't allowed to supplement the narrative because it's "hateful"
I don't believe everything Alex Jones says, but I can at least get on his website and say that.
This is exactly how you know the idea is full of shit. Because it can't handle a few rounds of bantz and scrutiny.
FUCK THESE FUCKING ASSHOLES
Ethan Young
fucking great idea
Bentley Myers
After all, this great nation is founded on free speech.
Benjamin Hill
All we have to do is talk about it. We could have memes with normie movie scenes like from The Interview and the fake fruit. Just shoop the store to say CNN and have stoner dude cry about how he learns all the "fruit" is fake.
There are certainly plenty of parallels between the Dems and Best Korea
Luis Cook
screwed everybody at WBAL got promoted years go by menopause is a bitch
Kayden Lewis
This is especially true of youtube channels for news videos when they know for a fucking fact the majority of people will be commenting saying what fucking bullshit it is.
Anytime comments are disabled they know people will challenge their narrative
Nathaniel Lewis
Fantastic OP. We'll get those pedos yet. They made a big mistake by going full retard.
The First Amendment isn't going down because some leather tank top wearing faggot's fees fee were hurt.
Mason Perry
bump for justice
Landon Campbell
no comment section? what are they afraid of? >the truth fears no investigation
Jackson Lopez
The best part about this is that it's self-explanatory and literally true. Comments were disabled because every lie was getting pointed out in the comments.
Parker James
I love how we have now adopted language tactics. This is the shit they've been pulling on us for years.
You out a bunch of smart dudes together and give them anonymity and the arguments get honed down to a razor edge. There is no fear of racism, sexism, or any of that bullshit. Just good content.
Mason Harris
Bumping this, this is the new hotness. "NO COMMENTS = FAKE NEWS"
Cameron Morgan
Praise Kek, have my digits for this wonderful idea.
Kek, my captcha is "ruette Looman"

Their ideas are paper-thin and cannot hold up to even trivial open discussion, so it must be prevented.

Epic idea. Bump

Being publicly funded doesn't obligate it to put a comments section on its website.
Brody Nguyen
you could argue that it does
Nathaniel Martinez
this is a sign of weakness and inability to argue your points
this is why we are still fighting the left when it should have been settled on 08 NOV
you are a fag and a hypocrite
Ryan Parker
Yeah, in fact I think that was a rule (they have to have a certain public responsiveness) and they changed it with the domestic propaganda legalization.
Andrew Rivera
>No one knows Clinton's VP >Trump uses persuasion tactics by not naming him >1488D chess
My sides!
Camden Jenkins
No, but it's an argument to stop funding it.
Lincoln Sanders
I agree that taking down one's comment sections is "a sign of weakness and inability to argue (...)."
Lucas Fisher
I can't make art right now but we need a million memes with the simple, normie-friendly motto: "NO COMMENTS = FAKE NEWS"
Juan Sanchez
Bump for unbelievable potential
Colton Thompson
If it's taxpayer funded it damn-well better have a section for me to tell them about their shit. They just do it because they think that people who disagree with their news are "unintelligent racists".
Luis Reed
Our state broadcaster, CBC, disables comments on news articles relating to Aboriginals and mudslime crime. Comments are allowed on only half of the news articles by default, pretty much.
Carson Collins
Are you agreeing? Because it sounds like you are agreeing.
Sebastian Rodriguez
>this is a sign of weakness and inability to argue your points agreed. no comments = weak points what are they afraid of?
Carson Powell
Me neither. The power has gone out in my den and so I can't use my computer until I figure out how to fix it.
It's a solid idea, though. If we bump it KEK will provide.
Nathaniel Green
I think that the beginning of it was the national media denying the Knockout Game (local media generally reports on it, allowing "conspiracy theorists" to cite totally mainstream sources) and every comments section in national media sites redpilling the masses. That and straight pointing out that "the article above this comment is a lie, here is a hyperlink proving it."
Ian Ward
Don't take this to an unsupportable absurd extreme. Everyone knows that the comment section doesn't determine the truth or falsehood of a particular story. It's the accountability of the whole site that's at question.
t. the OP
Austin Anderson
NO COMMENTS = FAKE NEWS
Brayden Long
This idea has potential.
I love it.
I used to browse CNN and think: "Why don't they have any comments?"
It's time to open the blue pilled faggot's eyes to the truth.
Implement Comment Sections.
End Jewish control of our media.
Ryder Robinson
Bump for good idea
Ryan Parker
Yeah but shutting down the comments after the comments were pointing out that you were provably lying is pretty fucking simple and it's exactly what's been happening. NO COMMENTS = FAKE NEWS
Jace Moore
Agreed. I feel safe to say that most people here are smart enough to know when something is wrong.
It's bullshit that these news websites get to publish editorials all day long and they don't give us a chance.
Michael Baker
Actually good idea. OP
Kayden Nguyen
You're on to something famanon. Sites without comment sections are utter faggotry.
Aaron Thomas

One thing often said about Autism is you have an inability to understand the perceptions of others and how your actions come off

I remember reading the news stories each time one of these sites took off comments.
....didn't notice the pattern until it was pointed out
Austin Reyes
CBC =
Hunter Martin
I have certainly seen loads of free speech hating "news" websites remove their comments sections because they get triggered by people calling out their bullshit. Lets run with it.
Thomas Kelly
So I had a similar moment when I started checking into some of the "conspiracy theories" that people kept making fun of.
I'm a scientist. I look for objectivity. It's shocking when a "news" organization like CNN doesn't cite facts. They quote some obscure stuff and just leave you to assume that it's real based on the merit of CNN. Id be ridiculed if I wrote for a journal and didn't cite my sources.
Brandon Sullivan
yeah, check this Jew York Times article trying to "debunk" pizzagate. They removed the comment section.
Good idea. Ive always thought it was pathetic not allowing feedback. Reeks of propaganda.
Carson Gray
I don't think we should drag Pizzagate into this. I'm not denying that there is some definite fuckery going on, but this is an issue for ALL news.
Josiah Sullivan
What are you trying to say? Don't be a passive-agressive bitch. What is your problem with pointing out that the state-sponsored corporate propaganda has been removing comment sections form their websites?
Joseph Myers
fighting criticisms of fake news with actual fake news, reaffirming their confirmation biases, real smart
normies dont think like us
Aiden Green
its not a meme the cbc does it all the time
and the articles that allow comments have a moderator approve the comments before they show up
Jordan Wilson
Don't do it. You're not gonna accomplish nothing.
Nathan Thompson
OP isn't a faggot, what a day to be alive! That's at least kind of funny If you think about it, Sup Forums is essentially a giant comment section
Jacob Jackson
Also BBC has no comments section
Parker Torres
fuck off obamaleaf
Jonathan Thompson
Disabling feedback and comment sections is the greatest admission you have something to hide and you don't want your content scrutinized.
NO COMMETS = FAKE NEWS
We are smarter than these normies, we can beat them in the meme war. Just turn their arguments against them and show their hypocrasy.
Andrew Powell
Wouldn't you have more faith in a format that enabled extraordinary claims to be directly called out and contradictions to be published, than in one that was pretty much just TV 2.0? I know I would. By faith I don't mean you'd believe everything, but you would at least see limitations to what they could get away with and have the expectation that they would comport themselves more carefully. NO COMMENTS = FAKE NEWS
Carson Lopez
What kind of bird is this?
Caleb Reed
great idea, user
Isaiah Perry
To be fair, your second comment used "boner". Although, I have seen profanity approved as long as it was towards conservatives.
Jeremiah Collins
...
Josiah Watson
8/10 kek'd
Andrew Martin
boner isn't even that bad
Aiden Rodriguez
especially cbc
Nicholas Wilson
Oh my god BBC Radio is the most preposterous one-sided nonsense that would not last ten seconds if they did not censor responses. They did a show about the Second Amendment where the only expert they talked to was a simple and debunked liar (the British nominal audience is unlikely to recognize his name or recall him getting utterly trashed the way an American might), and more recently they explained the Trumpening in terms of Dunning-Kruger (anyone who lacks faith in Clinton or Merkel is simply too dumb to see the brilliance of "invite the world, invade the world").
Leo Moore
They know. One thing everyone forgot about is how Fox News fired those reporters who wanted to talk about hormones in milk. The reporters sued and Fox won the case because they had the right to claim that they aren't actually news. They are entertainment.
Well they can't have it both ways. Actually, they can, but then they have to shut up about "fake news".
Kayden Allen
It's a vulcher, they're a large carrion feeder.

This is pretty memeable, let's rev up that weaponised autism lads
Lucas Clark
That is a truly hilarious sequence in the movie "The Corporation."
Nathan Sanders
mfw you fucks didn't think of this earlier.
However lads, be aware than censoring comments is at an all time high right now, Jewtube has been doing it en mass. What do you propose to do if they allow comments but censor the ones that threaten their fake news?
Asher Fisher
pol is letting this fake news crap get to them, it is a term introduced by the left to fuck with us period.
The MSM is loosing influence and legitimacy
Reality is perception, why are you focusing on these media outlets when there is a wider internet to use, they cant control you
the normies are not paying attention, you are chasing shills chasing spooks created by other shills, not real people
the MSM is loosing influence over normies, the the MSM does not matter anymore
the SJWs have a huge paper tiger thanks to the MSM and hollywood and advertising
well, guess what, hollywood is sucking wind and no one is influenced by most advertising except for shills who go searching for it they still think it is a source that gives them automatic credibility
Jason Sullivan
>thinking some unpaid intern they hired to filter comments can keep up with woke niggas and weaponized autism
>concern trolling fuck off CTR
Wyatt Turner
>The following kind of Your Content is also prohibited: >Pornography, vulgarity, obscenity or sexually explicit content I agree, it's not like you're harassing anyone, but they can technically exert the arm of authority for what you just said. Although, they don't have to when it comes to bashing conservatives.
Josiah Moore
The first thing that came to mind. I wish I was a dank memester. My job is to shitpost in this Great Meme War.
Gabriel Watson
Fair enough. So what we're looking for is essentially, organized chaos. I can get behind this shiggy diggy.
Isaac Carter
Do we have a article that a news site put out that was fake or stretching the truth then when comments called out the article, they were removed?
I can see it working if we have a before and after to show how sites are doing it only to keep their narrative going.
Noah Hall
I dunno when it started happening but I had been noticing lately that a lot of news sites don't have comment sections Now whether they had them in the first place and removed them later, or never had them at all, I don't know
Christopher Howard
agree. they did away with their comments sections years ago. and i was one of those that was there red pilling until...slowly...there were less and less comment sections.
FUCK LEFTISTS
Kevin Davis
>Fair enough. So what we're looking for is essentially, organized chaos. That's been the game plan since 2004 dumbass
