Got a pretty controversial opinion here, but despite civic nationalism not being viable, I'm actually really happy that the current "war" is the right saying "civic nationalism is the solution, not ethnic nationalism."
Couple of reasons. First, let's be real. The vast majority of people are still bluepilled on Nazism and are disgusted by the entire prospect... there isn't going to be a NatSoc revolution coming out of the blue and taking the world by storm like in 1933. However, I'm seeing a lot of "normies" on the right talking about civic nationalism and its benefits. Regardless of it being the wrong sort of nationalism, the fact that nationalism is becoming the norm is a fantastic thing, because that sets the stage for better forms of nationalism to be normalized.
Think about it, if our countries embrace civic nationalism, we end up going away from globalism and the left overall, and we can once again be proud of culture. However, inevitably as the years tick by, people will see the divisions between race and it will be more and more apparrent that the nonwhites are dragging down the nationalism and culture, and more and more people will drift to ethnic nationalism.
It's the long game, but I think that's how it will play out. Right now ethnic nationalism is the extreme, even amongst redpilled people. If regular nationalism can be normalized and accepted by society, then we are already on the road to fascism and the next stop is ethnic nationalism.

The way I see it for every 1 natsoc zealot we create we create 10 civic nationalists, and 100 conservatives (from liberalism) through the efforts of that 1 zealot. It sort of emanates, see. It's intellectually dishonest to label something that was forcibly crushed a "failed system", implying that a nation bombed into collapse during war is comparable to a system imploding politically during peace-time. The Soviet system failed, as did the Roman Empire, and every Chinese or Ottoman dynasty. Some of these examples of government lasted thousands of years, while some didn't last more than a generation. All forms of government inevitably fail. This has been true since ancient times. Polybius famously articulated this process of Anacyclosis: social organization paradigms rise, fail, and give way to further systems. This is the cycle of history.
Fascism is not a failed system, it was a defeated system: A.) it was not an economic system, but a social one; B.) the so-called "failed system" had a control group: the US. Both Germany, Italy, and the US were operating under Keynesean policies; only one of them won the war, and experienced a massive period of growth once their industrial rivals were destroyed. So no, it wasn't a failed system, because both sides were using it, including the side that won.
