I bought the Death of the West in 2003, almost by accident. A local bookstore I used to hang out at went out of business and I went on a buying spree.
The book was probably the largest redpill I had ever taken. It should be on every recommended book list. The chapter about Gramsci, the Frankfurt School, and Cultural Marxism should be required reading at a minimum.

Oh, I've read Democracy The God That Failed. I know very well what Hoppe thinks of Pat Buchanan. He of course says that Buchanan and his supporters are economic illiterates, literal social nationalists and protectionists who would actually damage their own economic interests by adopting Pat's "America First" economic policy.
That does not, however, invalidate what Pat might have to say on immigration and demographics. And The Death of the West is, I guess, the go-to reference for the demographic issue.
