Southern women were back then very conservative and traditional. They would not leave the house very often, and would stay faithful to their husbands (even widows avoided niggers to the best of their ability)

This isn't remotely true. The Klan was made up of southern plantation and business owners (Read: Democrats)to counter the rights given to blacks by the North (Read: Republicans)

It wasn't that there were no law enforcement personnel to deal with wild niggers running around committing crimes, it was that, on orders from Washington, that local law enforcement was to ignore all but the most egregious crimes. So the Klan was formed to do the job that local government would not. Fucking niggers have been getting a pass ever since the end of the first burger war.
