I find it hard to believe much, if not all, of the the Christian testament. Mainly due to the fact that God loves the Jews in the OT and then hates them in the NT. Since God is omnicient, that means he knew he would give a second covenant which the Jews would not accept.
So is God a trickster? Is God not omnipotent? Is the NT false? What gives?

Ask yourself, are the Jews farmers, ranchers, builders, fair to look upon, able to go pale in the face, God's battle axe which destroys evil? Do they have the laws of God written in their hearts? Of course not. Are they a company of nations, a blessing to the world, as numerous as the sands of the sea? Were they given a new land to dwell in (post-exile in Assyria), with a new name, and a new language? Did they colonize desolate places and dwell on the coasts and islands? Have they had a perpetual Davidic kingship? Are they chief among the nations? Do they have great mineral, and agricultural wealth, and control the seas?
Those were all eternal promises given to Israel. Either God is a liar, or the Jews are liars. Jesus said they are not his sheep, but rather of their father the devil, the synagogue of satan, and the generation (seed) of vipers.
