Somebody redpill me on the freemasons. Should I actually be concerned with what happens in those lodges.

Nothing important you need to now about. Shush shush, learn about something else, go away
None of your concern
For all we know your probably a mason
No, my friend is one and has an chapter in our local town of 80,000. He acts all cool and says he can't say what's going on at their meetings. You can literally just go to their local website and apply.
Only problem is I can't cuz catholic
If you speak the answer to this puzzle at their door they will let you in.
M'I HREE FRO TEH ODL MNA GYA SXE PRATY
No. Its exactly like high school, but for old men. They all roll around in their own little cliques and then bitch, whine and moan about who did/said what.
It's basically a mixture of bible work and Lutheran philosophy and ethics.
Saw a car unfront of me have this as a bumper sticker.
Really glad we had a fucking leaf contribute absolutely nothing to the conversation.
>Lutheran philosophy and ethics.
Clandestine
Turns out the "real illuminati" don't bother operating in the shadows. They hide in plain sight. Rockefeller, Soros etc
how does one join a lodge, and how would they feel about me researching a lot of masonic things before joining?
you can apply online now, and it doesn't hurt to know things
Dude, just ask at the local temple. Asking to join is how it works.
He is a catholic.. Do you put your religion on a job application too?
The free masons is just a large nepotism club. Loyalty to the group and adherence to their little traditions and rituals endear you to high ranking members with power. You get opportunities others don't and, if you can, move up to get your own power. Then you're expected to show favor to new up and coming members.
Just ask to join. No one will care about you researching the stuff beforehand but you'll lose all of the meaning behind the teachings if you do. The secrets are kept so that the teachings make an impact on your life in a good way.
The nepotism isn't because you joined a club but because your involved in your local community helping raise money for kids. Everything the local lodges do is to raise money for a charity or to keep the doors open. Most lodges are 501c3 non profits so you can go look at their revenue stream for yourself with some leg work.
There is an email address for a lodge nearby to me, that would be a good way to get into contact with them? I've seen people say just go knock on the door before but I wouldn't want to interrupt the middle of a ceremony or something. Is there a good time or day I should go?
Once, this old freemason guy came over to inspect my tripod I had posted on local classifieds. I noticed I was missing the quick release plate. I told him I'll order it and message him to come back and buy it for the price we had agreed on. After I ordered it, I got a reply from another buyer offering a higher price. I sold it to that buyer. The freemason guy came over anyways for some reason. I told him I had sold it for a higher price like the merchant I am. He got furious and yelled at me saying, "YOU LACK CHARACTER!"
Fucking wanted to bash his head in so bad before he got into his rusted van wearing his "G" freemason cap. Shrugged it off tho cus I outjewed a jew.
Newfag Mason here, Indiana.
What is Masonry?
-A fraternity.
Do they have secrets and rituals?
-Yes, as most fraternities do.
Are all Masons cunning and ruthless members of the Illuminati bent on New World Order?
-No, most are just regular people and will never make it outside of Blue Lodge. They join it as a social club or charity and do not follow the teachings as one could. Lodges are similar to churches in many ways, but think specifically to social structure. Churches have cliques. Even though we're all fellow brethren, we are divided. I work in a factory with several Masons. They range from, rednecks, racists, anti-gay, preachers of American exceptioalism, Union Members, homosexuals, software engineers, lawyers, doctors, hippies, and *deep breath* Jews.
The point is simply this, Masonry has teachings and secrets. They can be considered very powerful. Power itself is not good or evil, it's how you use it. Of course there are all manner of conspiracies running around in these circles, but coming from my humble opinion, it's a group of guys who are mostly good natured and try to do the right thing.
Yes
Email works but don't expect a response for a week or so. Most lodges are ran by old white dudes who have trouble with their phone. Email is still new to a lot of them. You wouldn't be interrupting a meeting if you go knock because the tiller won't let you in. He can usually direct you on when to come. Oh. The tiller walks around with a sword so don't fuck with him.
Both Joseph de Maistre and Mozart were Catholic Masons, though I think this was before the Pope formally banned Catholics from joining
sounds good thanks. i was in a fraternity in college and we had a role similar to the tiller in our meetings. I learned the founder of my fraternity was a 32nd degree freemason and a lot of the things we did were drawn from freemasonry
32nd degree?
Spoopy
As others have said, go to the lodge and apply. My lodge always had a dinner before meetings where all are welcome, so that was a good way to meet the members before joining.
32nd degeee isn't that big of a whoop. You can get 32nd degree in a month with no work. 33rd is a lifetime achievement award for doing good service for a looooong time
How many degrees do you need to learn the juicy shit about Moloch and not the shit they feed the low ranks?
I thought it was was because masons didn't like Catholics first, not other way around
well obviously I don't know a ton about freemasonry but it was interesting to find out the influences of it in my initiation.
33 bones in human spine.
33 steps up Jacobs ladder to get to the 'room upstairs' which is your brain.
From what I understand of the Freemasons, not really. If you've seen that Simpsons episode with the Stonecutters, it's pretty much the same thing. They put on airs of mystery, power, and greatness, but they basically spend their time getting drunk, hanging out, and doing charity work (albeit reluctantly in the Stonecutters' case, when Homer forced them into it; the Freemasons do it willingly).
what do they mean by this?
youtube.com
Doesn't make him wrong. You broke your word for a little extra cash. Wouldn't trust you worth a shit.
They occupy the highest echelons of society, police, businessmen, judges, lawyers, military, politicians.
And they worship satan, a finnish freemason exposed this on a TV-interview, he died in a mysterious accident in his own backyard few weeks later.
Lucifer, not Satan
I feel like the modern Masons are just protties trying to mimic all of the esoteric /x/ shit that's normally reserved for Catholics. Am I wrong?
...
>You can get 32nd degree in a month with no work
sure thing

apply a mirror to yourself. then feel shame. deep resentment, and look around the world at you. Try to find a place inside yourself that feels like gratitude. Seek a silent contemplation of life, and keep your discoveries to yourself so others too can enjoy the exploration and wonder of the world around us all. From there you will become humble.
I have faith in you user. I know you want to break the cycle and never post again! I BELIEVE IN YOU!
