I recently got back from a research trip to India and while there I was able to conduct some informal surveys about Indians' views on the US. Here is what I found:

>Q3: What is your opinion of President-Elect Trump? Positive: 44 Negative: 11 Neutral/Idk: 5
>Q4: Would you ever consider immigrating to the US? Yes: 21 No: 24 Neutral/Idk:15
These are college kids btw. What really surprised me is how positively people seemed to view Trump as opposed to Obama. Quite a few girls didn't even know who Obama was but everyone I asked knew who Trump was. Another thing I found was most of the people who said they would consider immigrating here were ambivalent about it but those who said no were very adamant about not moving to the US.
I actually asked one of my flatmates if street shitting was actually a thing. He said that it used to be big in the cities but the police were apparently given orders to put a stop to it.
