I wonder what the average 20-30 year old Russian thinks of Americans. Without having left the US, my naturally instinct is to like Russia. I see them as hard working people living in shitty conditions most of the time. Is this accurate? Do they actually hate us and i'm being cucked?

Politicaly, the Russians didn't do shit at all to provoke the US, other than participating in wars in countries close to theirs.

Personally, I think the reason Russia is villanized so much by the US is because they were the last big enemy the US had. The war against communism was mostly ideological bullshit, but US propaganda was successful in convining the average joe that Russia was bad due to communism. After the fall of the soviet union, the US had no real enemies. There is terrorism, but there is no real country that one can call the terrorist nation. There is also the fact that the war on terror is linked to republicans instead of democrats.I think the dems are trying to ressurect Russia as the big bad boogeyman because the US economy is so dependent on its military. Defense spending needs to be justified somehow and the dems have decided to villinaize the russians again to jusify the spending since the war on terror hasn't been popular for the left for years.
