>You and your wife are sitting on your couch, winding down after a long day enjoying a movie.
>suddenly 4 masked men with assault rifles burst though door.
>as a law abiding citizen with a handgun on person, you immediately open fire on masked men.
>they return fire killing your unarmed wife, while severely wounding you.
>once masked men subdue you, they both you and your slain wife in handcuffs while reading you your "rights"
It was a no knock raid, and they raided the wrong house in search of a drug house.
>you are now permanently crippled from gunshot wounds, your wife is dead and now you are facing 40+ years in prison for attempting to kill a peace officer even though no shots landed.
>oh beautiful for spacious skys...
Caleb Ortiz
Not trying to promote or condone anything, but I bet if some families were murdered while certain persons were at work in response to such events as these they would probably happen a good bit less
Henry Morris
I'm goingto give you the benefit of the doubt because I'm about 5 crown and cokes in, but I seriously do not understand what point you are trying to make.
Lincoln Hughes
My point is that making an example usually works very well for at least a few years

Part 2: Sue the department for 10s of millions and win. Have hot nurses massage my crippled body, and suck my crooked dick, for the rest of my days. God bless America!
Jaxon King
>assuming a law abiding citizen that legally owns lives in the fucking ghetto
Brayden Gutierrez
>police didn't yell "POLICE POLICE POLICE GET ON THE GROUND" This has happened before except the man shot the chief officer in the chest with a shotgun and faced no charges
Levi Ward
This desu. God bless Texas.
Julian Scott
At least I died fighting
Matthew Torres
>earn 10s of millions from department >have to pay it all on getting a band-aid from the hospital
Landon Cook
Except he was growing pot and faced felony murder
Christian Williams
the fact that no knock raids even happen in the first place should piss you the fuck off. Sup Forums would bend over backwards to suck a cops dick if it could.
Angel Gutierrez
Although I don't completely agree with no knock, but in situations where alerting of the polices presence before entering what could be a heavily armed scenario it isn't that bad of an idea
Christian Fisher
The officer survived the shotgun wound
Henry Gonzalez
Ops family should be killed to prevent the spread of autism

>no knock raid How is that any different than a burglar or a robber? They haven't identified themselves. A person has every right to defend their home against an unknown invader.
Your logic is terrible. Here's an example using the same logic >be woman >man attempts to rape you >resist because woman's rights >die because you resisted >This is somehow considered worse than letting yourself get raped.
Jackson Bennett
Not mentioned here are the 10,000 successful no-knock raids performed by experienced squad members.
Jack Morgan
Sure, but killing an assaulting cop in that scenario can't be a crime.
Jacob Gray
slipperly slope man, first it's only for "high risk situations" but notice how quickly the actual definition for those situations change.
Besides, we're not Somalia, there aren't battles going on on every street corner.
Nathaniel Nelson
>not mentioned here are the 10,000 violations of your 4rth amendment rights how's that shoe polish, you pathetic burger fuck.
Jeremiah Cook
>at least a few years
The Mexican Mafia has been making it for 4 decades. last I checked they were doing pretty well for themselves.

>>You and your wife are sitting on your couch, winding down after a long day enjoying a movie.
A long day watching one movie?
Fuck watching The Stand. That shit just goes on forever. That movie is like a fulltime job.
Xavier Lewis
That's no necessarily how it works. There was a case in Texas where this exact situation happened (no wife and the guy wasn't actually shot, though he did kill a sheriff's deputy during a no-knock raid on the wrong house) and the guy was found not guilty for murder/assault on a police officer. I think he's suing the department now for emotional distress, hopefully he wins big money. I generally support cops, but no-knock raids should never happen outside of legit organized crime hideouts and stuff and never just for drugs (though drugs should be legalized, kill 4 birds with 1 stone) and I hope that more deputies/officers are killed in these raids to drive home that they shouldn't be used against the civilian populace.
Daniel Brown
This is a case of the government fucking up, more specifically whatever organization was involved in the raid (I assume SWAT or FBI) and they would ,and since things of this nature has happened, must, change their doctrine and increase their effoceincy in actually getting the right fucking house
Jace Ward
>handcuffing a dead person >shooting without warning
