Morning lads. I decided to watch both episodes of Muslims Like Us earlier, it's a real mess of a thing. It's obvious that they did it as a propaganda piece to make us think "oh, they're just like me and my friends!" but I think it has gone very wrong. From my perspective I saw a group of 10 Muslims who fought non-stop, rather aggressively too and at one point it verged on violence. I saw once one Muslim tell another Muslim that he thinks she should be dead, then saw another Muslim say the same stuff in nicer words. Then I saw an old white women who has no clue about Islam who was just there for the hippie giggles. Then there was a faggot Muslim who doesn't understand why faggotry and Islam don't mix. Then, all the while they were preaching how Islam is about being charitable and sharing, one Muslim went mental because someone used his onion.
I think it highlighted perfectly why Muslims can never belong here and can never integrate. If these people are at war with each other when they are all Muslims, how are they ever going to be able to live happily alongside people who are openly not Muslim?
I saw Muslims being racist to Muslims, Muslims being "Islamophobic" to Muslims and Muslims being sexist to Muslims. They are the most volatile people on this planet and those two short episodes illustrated that perfectly.

Did the Jews end up passing the bill in UK? They tried the same in US--with essentially the same exact language in bill-- which shows you who's actually pushing it, i.e. the International Jew.
Jordan Jackson
What Bill? Are you talking about the new anti-semitism definition? If so, then yes that's a thing now. So now it is illegal for us to deny the holocaust, or even to admit it happened but to say that you don't believe gas chambers were used. It's also illegal to make mention of the fact that Jews run the majority of massive businesses.

Re-watching stuff about the march to Iraq, I'm almost gobsmacked by how they talk about terrorism like this huge threat that's going to bomb us every day, instead of what in the big picture amounts to an occasional inconvenience.
I want to say that I'm glad that's over, but I know the only reason is over is because this nonsense is now embedded in the national psyche. You can justify any gross abuse of civil liberty by saying "oh, terrorism, ISIS" even if it's utterly disproportionate to the real threat.
How the fuck did a country that managed to maintain dignity and liberty against an existential threat to one of her constituent nations, bombing at random within another of those nations with alarming regularity, and which could blend in much more effectively, suddenly turn and throw it all away because every 10 years or so some twat might blow up a bus? It's maddening.
Juan Diaz
>You can justify any gross abuse of civil liberty by saying "oh, terrorism, ISIS" even if it's utterly disproportionate to the real threat. No need for that, just eject Sunnis (particularly illegals) from the country.
By the way, getting blown to pieces, shot or maimed is not a mere inconvenience.
>No need for that, just eject Sunnis (particularly illegals) from the country. Well sure, that'd be a much more effective policy.
On the national level it amounts to a mere inconvenience. It's very damaging personally, but so is being hit by a drunk driver - and that's much more likely than being bombed yet receives exponentially less funding to tackle the risk.
It's a complete ignorance of opportunity costs. "If it saves one life" sort of thinking. (If it saves one life, using money that could've saved a thousand lives, your policy is a bloody disaster.)
Gavin Brooks
Allow one and ten more will transpire.
Again, Sunnis should not be in the UK.
Luke Jenkins
...
Lucas Martinez
By all means, deport Sunnis. I'd gladly take that policy in exchange for maintaining civil liberties.
It's nonsense that you need something like the snooper's charter to stop us winding up in a dystopian situation with regular terror attacks. The threat from terror as a whole is overblown, and while in the public consciousness everyone essentially knows it comes from a single religious group, the government continue to insist on trampling the civil liberties of all people in the name of preventing it.
Jason Thomas
Indeed.

I would describe it as insecurity, extremism arises from the pissing contest of religious piety.

Read the quran.
Eli Ross
Inside is justification for every type of human behaviour from the charitable to the inhuman.
The issue is not the Quran but rather the insistence that it IS the word of God and is infallible. It too easily provides justification to commit terrorism. Whereas the bible we all know has been revised and is regarded as a moral and spiritual guide, which provides less authority for justification.

It still seems unduly barbaric that we allowed them to hang Saddam instead of putting him in some sort of international jail. I mean, he was a cunt, but nobody's ever denied that. The solution to someone being a cunt isn't always to give them a dubiously fair trial and then hanging them in front of an audience.
Not just from a sort of humanitarian perspective, but also the fact that keeping him around could've been intensely useful to historians and the like.
On the other hand perhaps forcing him to see what a fucking mess we made of his country would've constituted cruel and unusual punishment.
Carson Clark

If he had been allowed to live he could have prove do that there was no justification for the invasion and subsequently led an uprising from where he was being held. It could have snowballed into a retaliation against the west in general.

>have prove do that there was no justification for the invasion >It could have snowballed into a retaliation against the west in general. Thank goodness that didn't happen. I can only imagine what a state the middle east would be in now.
I've got my doubts he could lead an effective uprising from a jail outside Iraq though. You could just cut off his communication in a foreign country. Killing him opened up the possibility of viewing him as a martyr. (Which was his plan, albeit it doesn't seem to have been particularly effective.)

I'm quite drawn to the idea of having him pop up. Going back at least to Vietnam, Iraq is the one war that needs to be remembered by all for being such a colossal fuck up committed against the will of the public. (Also, wouldn't be an amusing irony if by some means Saddam had outlived Blair?)
I'd rather a Russian held middle east to anarchist refugee-factories, personally. Even with the Middle East on side, Russia can't really challenge the US. I'm weary of the continued push against Russia, as though she were an existential threat to the UK and the like instead of a regional threat to Eastern Europe.
Though if we could start a nice big war in Saudi Arabia, I'd give it my full support. If we're going to intervene against cunt regimes, we ought to do it consistently. (Or at least inconsistently while still getting revenge on the Saudis.)
David Smith
