I never post here but was told this is a good place to break news.. anyways, a high-level advisor to the Obama white house just let me in on huge news.
Rumor has it that Twitter will be hit with 17 federal lawsuits after Jan 20th and that's why Trump is distancing himself from them, Google it, he left them out of the meeting today. His campaign claimed it's because Twitter is "too small" (we all know that's a shitty excuse) but there's a real reason. Twitter and Jack Dorsey their CEO has violated civil rights by restricting political speech, banning people for their opinions, and while allowing and verifying left-wing hate groups like HAMAS and BLM.
The lawsuit and ensuing trial will bury Jack Dorsey and might even put him in jail. The argument was that "well Twitter's a private company"- it's a hub where millions of people and most of the world get news, up to date info, etc - it will be classified as a necessity or some legal jargon and he is going to be in HUGE trouble. Screen shot this, you heard it here first. I hope 1 person sees this. thanks.
It's a believable kind of bullshit. Especially since Trump had Musk's pipe dream companies in their meeting but not Twatter
John Rodriguez
Fantastic if true, FB, twitter and google are becoming a huge threat to free speech. They need to be treated more like phone companies once they get above a certain size.
Easton Ramirez
This sounds interesting
Chase Roberts
hahaaa this would be funny i lava it
Luis Hughes
It Really Made Me Think how a mom-and-pop bakery can be fined out of business by the government for refusing to bake a homosexual cake because it's a "public accommodation", while a massive Internet-based company can ban users and police their opinions at will and on a whim because "it's their business they can do whatever they want".
Daniel Perry
Believable. What's the history of Twitter? Who started it? Doesn't it have some shady beginnings?
Grayson Green
Stoned off the devils lettuce...hoping this role play is actually true.
Adrian White
Drups durps. Twitter isn't going anywhere. How else is Trump going to manipulate the stock market so his family and friends can make $$$$?
>Drups durps. Twitter isn't going anywhere. How else is Trump going to manipulate the stock market so his family and friends can make $$$$? Twitter isn't going anywhere, Jack Dorsey and management would be in trouble. He should already go to jail for using it as his personal political platform, it's a public company he's supposed to be there to make money for shareholders.
Last time he got fired from being CEO it was due to him being lazy and going to yoga classes instead of doing work.
Thomas Rogers
Good. I've been shorting this piece of shit.
Luke Murphy
>sweet pump and dump
This space reserved for ads PM for rates
Henry Anderson
That is an excellent point.
Brandon Smith
Twitter and other megahuge social networks need to be legally classified as utilities, because they are.
(and that means they're not allowed to discriminate based on politics)
Nolan Campbell
You just get dumber with every post Sup Forums. Individual companies don't have to provide free speech, how fucking stupid are you adapted assholes? Nice fanfic
Leo Wright
Wrong.
Thomas Morris
Also Twitter is full of Arab and Asian cp. How soon we forget.
Aiden Hernandez
Are they also going to get in trouble for harboring tens of thousands of pedophiles? We discovered this a couple weeks ago remember.
Camden Collins
So by this logic beer companies can be sued for duis and fatalities
Easton Reyes
Seems possible. They have been very obviously biased.
Christopher White
This is dumb. Anyone can file a lawsuit.
Christopher Gray
What logic are you referring to mate? You're way off.
Elijah White
those goddamn CIA niggers
Elijah Gomez
Shills. Are you shorting the stock?
Trying to get others to act on inside information ahhhhh?
Fuck off you damn fake news (((Jews)))
This thread is bullshit. Twitter is gay as fuck but this thing is retarded
Leo Bailey
I believe you unconditionally
Ryan Martinez
OP is a le lying faggot
Christopher Evans
We were right all along. Poor Seth ;-;
Brody Davis
Do you really believe the fake news meme?
Hunter Walker
Will twitter stock ever go up again? Should I buy now or wait for it to fall further?
The fact that this is still on the board means it's either not true or not important
Sebastian Garcia
>Twitter and Jack Dorsey their CEO has violated civil rights by restricting political speech, banning people for their opinions
Twitter is protected by the First Amendment, unless there is a precedent for this.
Ryan Powell
Faggots are a protected class. Politics and opinions aren't.
Cooper Watson
> newfag coming to Sup Forums to spread probably false stock news so that he can bank on that
Are you trying to Jew us, user? We don't take this shit lightly here.
Christopher Martinez
it already experienced it's dead cat bounce it'll be in the shit heap now until a new social network puts it out of it's misery
Andrew Powell
Honestly, I'd love to see alcohol producers held to the same standards as cigarette companies. I believe money lost from healthcare is equal or more than cigarette use, the reason why tobacco companies were sued. Even more money is lost from decreased productivity.
There really is no health value to alcohol as well, yet it's not a classified drug.
Jacob Harris
no actually since it's a publicly owned corporation the CEO has a responsibility to make sure the shareholders get paid and the company becomes more valuable
by putting the stock of his company through the floor with all of his bullshit (Twitter has been losing money every year since IPO IIRC) he is directly going against his few obligations as CEO
>This divestiture was initiated by the filing in 1974 by the United States Department of Justice of an antitrust lawsuit against AT&T.[2] AT&T was, at the time, the sole provider of telephone service throughout most of the United States. Furthermore, most telephonic equipment in the United States was produced by its subsidiary, Western Electric. This vertical integration led AT&T to have almost total control over communication technology in the country, which led to the antitrust case, United States v. AT&T. The plaintiff in the court complaint asked the court to order AT&T to divest ownership of Western Electric.[3]
basically if Trump somehow could get a massive Antitrust case going against Twitter, and bring in the whole "Dorsey is being a cunt so you should probably check that out too lmao" thing, he COULD potentially get the US government to either break up Twitter (unlikely), force it to accommodate users who aren't outright slinging threats around (ehh), or basically anything else you can imagine.
this has already happened before m8. there's precedent.
Xavier Martinez
Welcome to modern America.

Bah, Sears and other stores are fucking up and failing costing shareholders millions, yet their CEOs aren't in trouble. Target lost a lot of money as well when they had their trans bathroom debacle, nothing happened to their CEO.
Brandon Sanders
yeah, but the thing is that the boards of those companies have to handle the CEOs on their own. if someone invested a large amount into twitter stock there's a very large chance they could either get Dorsey booted or just sue Twitter so fucking badly they're forced to buy back their stock or kick him out
and plus those companies don't even really matter in relation to Twitter, Twitter is it's own company. the CEO has to do what the board has agreed he has to do, but i haven't found a single company in my life that has said he doesn't have a fiduciary type role.
basically something has to give, either Twitter's bullshit or Dorsey's bullshit.
Jace Robinson
Ultimately shareholders will either make their views clear (if they are activist) or vote with their feet. Where things get dangerous is where the board is weak (CEO is a bully for instance, or they are just present for earn-out) and where no shareholder who counts is taking much of an interest.
I should know.
T.Former senior WorldCom staff.
John Cox
But no mention about how they let Saudi royals post cp and do nothing about it????
LARP
Adrian Baker
yep, i agree with you mate.
what i've been concerned about though is Twitter's amazing ability to continue to run and expand with huge losses year over year. how has Dorsey not been kicked out? how is Twitter financing it's expansion?
i wouldn't be surprised if the NSA or CIA or whatever alphabet agency is propping it up. this shit is too suss. you can't go around kicking out anyone who is white, right wing (aka centrist going on left wing or just centrist), or angry with the status quo. that's no way to run a company.
Aaron Diaz
Wait, what?
Been away for a few weeks. What did I miss?
Logan Murphy
i'm pretty sure a bunch of people on twitter started spamming CP for a few weeks in response to pizzagate and nothing was done about it by twitter
Kevin Wilson
As a side quest to the Pizzagate thing, some anons found a large stash of porn on twtter associated with various high level corporate execs.
