Hello Comrades. This general is for the discussion of Marxism-Leninism, the ideology of revolutionary socialism and communism.
Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage.
What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:
>Communism is a stage of society in which the productive infrastructure is socially owned, and goods are produced not in order to sell for profit, but in order to meet a social need.
>Communism in it's full form is a stateless, classless society that follows the maxim "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need."
>To acheive such a society Marxism-Leninism teaches us that we must replace the capitalist state, which is controlled by the capitalist class, by a socialist state, which is controlled by the working class. Then, a period of class struggle follows in which the capitalist class is liquidated by the working class. When the capitalist class has been completely vanquished, there will be only one class, the working class, and eventually the functions of the state will become indistinguishable from the functions of the society as a whole, and the state as such will 'wither away' as Marx said.
What happens when the proletariat that controls a factory decides it wants to sell its products to make a profit?
Robert Bell
How about before your dumb ass ideas kill tens-of-millions of people you just hang yourself instead?
Samuel Miller
kys
Luis Hernandez
the same thing that happened to the owners of capital during the revolution
Isaac Gomez
So you have to set up a police state to control the proletariats?
Carson Diaz
Ideally the proletariat themselves would up their guns and hunt the "greedy" nigger themselves
Wyatt Torres
Come on reddit, you know that raiding Sup Forums is impossible for you. Go home kid, we don't want you to get hurt.
Jace Reyes
That sounds like a violation of the NAP
Isaac Clark
I only clicked on this thread because of the cute anime girl
Landon Price
...
Ryan Thomas
>comrades without k this is why spain will always be a third world turd
hope you've recovered from the tortasso
Juan Phillips
Who the fuck is talking about NAP here? communists know that might makes right, and when one of the proles get up and try something fishy (ie claiming sole ownership of the goods produced by their hands) then just as the revolution came in place so will this problem be corrected: by violence
Eli Robinson
where is your hugarian butt buddy? you stupid commie scum
William Wilson
They meet the hammer.
Hunter Murphy

Blake Adams
How does a modern proletariat revolution work of modern workers seize the means of production in a Walmart or a Tim Hortons have they really seized the means of production when they don't control the supply chain? How do you get past the fact that the manufacturing sector is only 20% in an average western country and the unionization rate is lower than that
John Peterson
>Pol is a board for discussion of politics >B-But don't discuss anything except for right-wing capitalism, this is our safe space
Brody Cox
So you have to set up a state. Why would proletariat in a neighbouring city give a fuck about what the proletariat in the next city are doing? They can just shoot back
Ryan Smith
not an argument
Chase James
Reminder that we are still being raided.
How much do they pay you to do this, OP?
Hudson Hernandez
I'm fairly sure that both production and distribution would be state-owned. I assume a socialist state in a Western country would need to re-industrialize so that they can produce what the country needs.
So the government not the worker controls the economy and means of production which is not true gobunnism
Jace Wilson
The idea is that the workers control the government.
Charles Hernandez
So the government is made of part time bydlo who pass laws and enforce them after 5pm?
Asher Rivera
Join the Communist party, you will be all equal under the rule of the new intellectuals.
>You will be assimilated
>Individuality is irrelevant >Culture is irrelevant >Race is irrelevant >Family is irrelevant >History is irrelevant >Human lives are irrelevant
We will give you food and shelter and you will obey to us, work for us, die for us.
Matthew Collins
Ideally we wouldn't have bydlos, but yes, their voice would have to be represented in the government. I'd prefer using a lot of sortition. Randomly select samples of the population to inform policy decisions. Not everyone would have to be involved constantly, the people taking decisions would be decently informed, and you'd get a good representation of the whole population.
>Individuality is irrelevant Nope. >Culture is irrelevant Nope. >Family is irrelevant Depends on what you want I guess. >History is irrelevant Sounds decisively un-Hegelian.
>Race is irrelevant Man, you got us on that one.
Jaxson Kelly
Reminder that this faggot's name is (((Zachary Merriam))) Tell me more about Marxism from the comfort of your two-story $5 million home in Boston, Zach.
Andrew Jones
Who would set up this selective committee?
Colton Garcia
Marx was a fucking idiot, and that he has had the kind of effects and following he has is one of the worst misstepsof recent human history.
Adam Turner
>no innovation >can only develop from slave labor or spies >no decent redistribution of wealth >gives autocracy to central authority
Yeah, you're trash. sagednkaged
Blake Perry
Jeez, that sounds like cucktalism
Colton Scott
They'd be selected randomly. I think the average person is capable of informing themselves when it's demanded of them. Certainly in a society where this is customary.
I don't know where you got those ideas from. Seems like you're describing Marxism-Leninism, but then the first point doesn't make any sense at all.
Most of us aren't Leninists.
Evan Morgan
the average person is dumber than you and you're already dumb as a brick for not realizing it
Carter Rodriguez
Of course they are. But (1.) our average politicians aren't that brilliant either, (2.) they're only retarded because nothing is expected of them.
I believe asking more involvement of the people is the way to reinvigorate our culture. Have people think about the larger world, have them feel like their beliefs matter, like what they're doing in the world makes a difference. It would be a shitshow at first, but in the long term, the rewards would be incredible.
Currently people are idiots, but they aren't idiots by nature. It's definitely something that can be changed, maybe even faster than you would expect.
Leo Richardson
...
Joseph Bailey
>Currently people are idiots >It's definitely something that can be changed
People are stupid by nature, they can't be trusted. People had to agree with the party, or be sent to reeducation.
>trips of doom has spoken
David Lewis
You'll have that problem with any system. Hopefully things will, for the most part, keep going fine as they are. Just like they have in capitalism, until recently.
