i'll bite. the constitution only says that to be eligible to be president, someone has to be what's called a "natural born citizen". the constitution never defines what exactly this term means. since every president and vice president have been born in the US, it's never been a problem. remember, ted cruz was born in canada, and i don't remember anyone on Sup Forums or otherwise having a problem with that during the campaign.

if in some bizarre turn of events it was discovered that obama wasn't born in the US, it would probably fall onto the supreme court to determine whether obama would be eligible to be president or not.

i really doubt that things would go over like, "oh, i guess he wasn't born here, cancel EVERYTHING he's done over the last eight years." that wouldn't really make a lot of sense, don't you think?
