Marriage also runs the risk of bankrupting men as the legal system is biased in favor of women via alimony, child support and splitting of assets. Things might be good for a millionaire that got lucky selling a hipster magazine but for the rest of us were not so lucky.

They're not doing it because of eroded cultural/moral values.
People would rather sleep around with a bunch of people and have no responsibility than start a family, be loyal, and have children.
They would rather spend their time consuming media, whether it's film, gaming, social media than being starting a family. They have porn and casual sex replacing stable relationships.
Consumerism, nihilism and hedonism have replaced family life and tradition as the mainstream culture, so with less people to caring about the latter, less people will adhere to it.
No-fault divorce and alimony are also a problem. Globalization and economic issues too for different reasons, but they're not the main reason why less people are having kids. Secularization is also part of it.
