Politics of Fire Fighting

How far is too far Sup Forums? How much governmental overisght should be applied to fire safety regulations on a local and state level? Do you believe that fire codes should be a state issue, or should fire departments be private institutions? What are the political implications of your nations current fire fighting system?

Excuse me but this is totally not a doxxing or raid thread. The mod is banning those.

This thread is specifically about fire safety politics. Please discuss how your local government handles fire safety, and some examples of fire safety in action in your cities.

For example, I reported a flophouse in my neighborhood.

Why is the thread so slow?

Activist mods are going beyond what Hiro stated and banning threads that need not be banned,

Governmental oversight is fine as is, but civic minded citizens concerned over fire safety need to discuss and identify problem locations for the fire fighting system to do its job. This will yield economic improvement in those locations as communities are cleaned up and become appealing again to businesses which brings opportunity and jobs. It also restores land value which generates further income for the municipality.

Fires are deeply political dangers that have many ramifications if not properly prevented.

We've moved to

How do we bring the issue of fire safety to the public and make people aware of unsafe things?

oh god dammit, these threads were my favorite on the board lately, I wondered why the fuck I wasn't finding any in the catalog.

Anonymous notes are generally the best in my experience.

They kept getting banned, all the users in the 70th one got a 1 day ban and the next OPs got permabanned. The few threads after it haven't resulted in mass bans, though.

I believe the best way to raise awareness is through example. If the fire department closes a business or venue due to serious safety concerns, maybe others will see the benefits of such regulations.

Surely, you must have some ideas as to the kinds of places that ought to be reported. Not that I am encouraging you to do so of course.

Cuckmods hate fun

I firmly believe fire safety is extremely important. Having local and state regs that are more stringent than federal ones would make sense in spots that would be more prone to fire, especially due to drug use and intentionally ignoring safety standards.

Well, part of the way would be to discuss fire code violations in example photographs and how they can avoid those violations themselves while exercising their civic duty and notifying municipalities before a fire breaks out elsewhere and spreads.

Fire code would be a great example to start talking about as that is a government followed guideline which municipalities use to build safer communities. This would allow citizens the ability to understand what the government regulations actually are, how far they go and even their origins.

>I believe the best way to raise awareness is through example.
I don't think scare tactics would be the absolute best way to do it. It'd be somewhat effective, but we could do better. Perhaps a national statement or initiative could bring some change. Also, if /diy/ threads become (more) popular and the media covers it, it could really make them think.

states should pay for firefighters
states should decide what firefighters do

if the federal gov wants to help out, that is fine. if they want to do more than that they should btfo

It kinda pisses me off in a way. It's like... even though they were leftists, at the end of the day damn near all of the people that died in the fire were Americans. Leftists can come around and see the light eventually, and leave their degeneracy behind as they grow up. They can still have time to be productive members of society when they're still young.
In a way the safety threads were mean, but in a lot of other ways it was people genuinely caring about other Americans that prompted it. A lot of these selfish pricks don't understand that they're hosting death traps, and jokes aside I don't think we really want a bunch of our own young white people to burn to death in a fire.

The only people we hurt are the literal scum of the Earth: white trash, negligent anarchists with no concern for others safety, and criminals. We help every innocent man or woman that lives near there, every business near them, every neighbor who lives near these fire hazards. Yes, people make it about liberals or anarchists or whatever, but the true intent was always to prevent more deaths and clean up the streets a little.

Smokey the Frog

Frogs don't like fire; they like to be hydrated

Well yeah, it's a situation all of us got to benefit from. By forcing these cults to close down too, it forces these people to re-integrate into society and away from these cults that can only promote degeneracy and the slow death of our nation. Less deaths, more productive members of society, less filth. It is a positive solution we can all get behind.

Fire codes are from the bottom up. If enough cities in a state adopt a specific fire code, you might consider it as a state mandate... same story for federal.

I have no problem with the notion of privately run fire fighting companies as long as they can exist in tandem with public fire fighters..

I heard there was another one of these freakin places that was shutting down. What was it called. Does anyone remember what the one with all the illegal aliens was called?

Thank God there were political fire regulations for this place because it might have continued to be an unsafe and illegal establishment.

Can't remember the name though.

I like this idea
Too bad that kind of behavior will get you permabanned
>They do it for free

I want this to happen. Once they emerge from their echo chambers, they'll see how fucking retarded they've been all along.

Man, these kike ass mods are really demoralizing. Fight on Sup Forums bros, hope they get shitc&.

>Do you believe that fire codes should be a state issue, or should fire departments be private institutions?
Local regulations are almost always better suited to these types of things than having them at federal or state level. The closer to home the governing authority is, the better able that authority is to strike a balance between personal freedoms and oppressive regulation

inb4 autistic screeching of /qa/ gets thread deleted

Remember to reset your routers boys

I guess it's time to shitpost on Sup Forums if they want it so bad.

youtube.com/watch?v=qdC_Cu9X4wc

What do you guys think about building codes implementing sprinklers in new construction residential buildings?

>RULES: We are not a raid group. Posting of personal information will get you banned. Do not post:
>Names of venue owners, staff, or their info
>Residential address (even if they are operating as a venue, just report)
>Personal information

Why post there if we are just as restricted as we are here?

remember, if this gets deleted there's always /feedback/

Hiro already said it was fine.

These mods are fucked.

Agreed. OP of this thread also just got banned for raiding.

What are we raiding here exactly?

Mods = fags

Because we're posting info of where the venue is, who the fuck cares where the staff lives? We're not raiding the people, we're reporting venues.

Ah, no houses then, just warehouse locations. gotcha

>Totally not just something written to keep 8ch board moderators from deleting /rwss/ as a "raid" board

Idk. Is mass reporting illegal activities considered illegal now? Sup Forums is an odd place

The mods are worse than fags. They're Alinskyite infiltrators who have just revealed themselves. They need to be removed immediately.

Hiro said it was fine so very good chance these mods get shit canned.

>Hiro said it was fine so very good chance these mods get shit canned.

I'm hoping so, mods in IRC just kick and ban anyone asking about this and claiming it's just one person who is upset, the rest are sock puppet accounts, etc.

According to them, they make the rules.

Looking at it objectively it's only /qa/ raiding Sup Forums and openly gloating about it

While all Sup Forums is doing is being a responsible citizen of their state. What the fuck is this reversal of victimhood?

...

Do you have a link to /qa thread?

Note: is a very anti-safe board that would rather save money not following fire codes and is attempting to mass-report these threads.

There's half a dozen of em, see for yourself And a bunch that were deleted earlier

I don't understand why mods would go through all this trouble to pick a fight with Sup Forums. It's just going to backfire like it always does.

All I can say is sprinklers in residential spaces is the most retarded thing I've seen in my entire life in real estate. They can cost up to 50k to install and they ruin most of the house if even one goes off.

Because we're shutting down the places these mods "organize". These are /leftypol/ infiltrators and they need to go.

isnt laws also political? The nature of making laws is part of politics

Because they hate Sup Forums.

Why do you think they leave up the obvious b8 threads, the cuck porn threads, the spam?

But the moment we start enjoying ourselves, it's gone and further threads are deleted very quickly, while spam is left up.

Speak of the devil. On a further note a lot of what the fire department does on a daily basis is inspections so I suspect some sort of Jewry behind this push

It's kind of like how whites usually get treated.

Do what the ameribro said in the other thread?
>Tweet to gook(mo-ot) get this pos new mod off

I learned recently from a presentation by a township supervisor in a policy class at university that fire marshalls and fire departments in general hold the most political power in small townships.

If you have the desire to rule over like 50-200 people, get in good with the fire department before you run your campaign.

arent board raids are rule violations here?

Honest question since relative to the initial install there is the cost to overcome but I've heard there's rated PEX for sprinklers which would drive the cost down. From what I've seen and watched in videos it seems that sprinklers are worthwhile for preventing modern """"furniture"""" (With their MDF, particleboard or even cardboard cores) from becoming fireballs within seconds.

/qa/ gets special treatment

>ask why mods are deleting threads that hiro said are okay
>get banned for complaining about Sup Forums
>in /qa/

absolute trash

>PEX

You work with this stuff too?

I was wondering why I didn't see any threads today.

No matter though, it's not going to stop me from making sure they're super safe off of these threads.

/qa/ are special because they're newfriends who come to Sup Forums or Sup Forums from some link somewhere and get triggered and bitch and moan about how it's not like facebook or plebbit or neogaf or wherever they came from and then call of Sup Forums to get deleted.

they do this, and when you try to argue, they'll just copypaste replies.

No, I had my house repiped with copper but I was considering installation of sprinklers at the same time since the drywall was being opened up. I saw that there was rated PEX for sprinkler systems and I was curious about it but questioned how suitable it would be. Given it is protected behind drywall and would have water flowing through it.

What place were you discussing when the bans happened?

That's the nigger-hole you need to shut down. They're scared. These liberal insects are losing their degenerate play-pens. They'll have to find new "spaces" to suck cock.

archive.4plebs.org/pol/search/subject/right wing/type/op/
In fact look at the archive and see the threads being deleted were the ones with resources.

Don't back down yet. Keep your resources. This is what is making you strong.

Find a venue near you.

Report violations to the authorities.

I don't know what any of that means, the last house I built cost $50,000 for 10,000 square feet, I've never seen a fire or known about a fire firsthand in my life but I've seen sprinklers go off accidentally in person (the former makes the news and the latter does not) I'm against them until they can find a way to not completely destroy your house if one goes off. I wouldn't feel safe having kids in a house with them knowing how easily they can be set off by contact

We could use a different service until Hiro bans the mods.

Go for it, loser. Winners love to compromise.

Guys, honestly, this concerntrolling is even gayer than pizzagate.

Let's focus on cucks like Kurt Kikenwald. If some fag trap gender nonconforming "artist" wants to live in an unsafe building, fine, fuck him.

Really makes you think.
[00:29] You're not allowed to make a thread linking to lists of addresses and telling people to call the fire department, it's against the rules

Haha.

>t.guy that lost his hipster den due to fire code violations

Nah Sup Forums is the rightful home of /diy/, however, your ilk are seeking to censor a massive collaborative effort. It only makes good sense to keep a backup that you can't tamper with. :^)

It's actually against the law to see a crime and not report it.

I'd love for (((ALTERNATIVE))) to post that shit here so he can get sued into the ground and exposed.

Sprinklers shouldn't go off accidentally without actual heat to the sprinkler unit. From what I've read about them you can buy sprinklers with different operational temperatures at the ceiling. They're all physically triggered units, there's a glass vial with fluid inside. I'd have to wonder what induced those units to go off accidentally. Also there are hidden units that have a plastic cover on them that protects them physically and makes them look less obvious.

But at 50k for 10k sqft that doesn't sound unreasonable given
>10,000 square feet
That's a mansion pretty much.

>.pl
Why not use the .net one?

Excellent, that one will do

>its illegal to report illegal activities to authorities

What now?

Its just a mod-abuse raid, illegitimate as /diy/ does not violate any of Hiro's rules.

With hope, our evidence of their actions will lead to new mods.

I almost forgot negligence is also a crime.

You're not allowed to be a faggot jew commie mod, it's against the rules.

These fucking mods have terrible priorities
>Hurr durr lets ban non-illegal safety enforcement threads while ignoring all of the bait threads and the constant actual raiding by other parties

Rambunctious kids hitting them somehow. I'm just salty because I've dealt with them in the past and they're an example of retarded govt beauracracy fucking over average people. If the can make them practical I'll be fine with it but that's a long way off as far as I'm aware.
And it was industrial live/work space. There's 2 families living there now

they dont care

>deleted
What did they mean by this?

you can probably still make those information lists you just have to change the language of it and alter certain sections

I'm at .pl; it's pretty low energy. Which one are we going to?

8ch
.net/rwss

Kids in an industrial working space AND living space with ceilings low enough that they can reach up and hit the sprinklers? You're going to have to show me some photos since I'm having issues visualizing

Here's a photo of a concealed sprinkler, the plastic piece threads right on but in fire conditions it'll pop off.

they dont really care. That's the downside of moderation and anonymity. They really have the power and there's nothing you can do about it unless the higher ups would outright kick them out. That's why give a fucking /feedback/

Condos in an "industrial zone" it's a normal house basically, just happens to be on the same street as two factories in an otherwise residential neighborhood
More common than you'd think

I'm seeing it on both sites. Should i spread the original graphic?

10k sqft isn't remotely normal for a two family unit. A single unit of space at 5k sqft is almost twice the size of current new build houses...

we'll never go away.

The .net one is the main one, .pl will just be the backup. Spread this.

Yup

This

I didn't know it existed. I was on pl thinking it was net, forget pl. Net is where its at.

And I'm supposed to imagine this remotely looks like a normal house?

>last few catchpas: select a house

GOOD LUCK SAFETY CHAN

I love that mods have shut you guys down. You really can't even get away with your bullshit in your own breeding ground.

Trump is your next president and there is LITERALLY nothing you can do about it.
