Positive American stereotypes?

what do other countries think of Americans but in a positive light? I know the stereotype is fat and stupid, but what are the positive ones?

For example I know French are typically seen as snobby, but they're also very cultured and have interesting viewpoints on things. Japanese are weird as shit, but are extremely respectful, hard-working and polite.

McDonalds

Hamburgers.

Friendly

Big fat hamburgers.

Good universities, great attractions and parks, good places to live. I guess the malls were pretty good. People are nice, except black people.

Going to the Moon.

Mathematical geniuses. Too bad most people don't look up to them, and instead look up to Lil Wayne.

Shaft Mart

*Shart

Modern day freedom.

your women liked to get blacked, postive for blacks

Your people call anyone black African America, so you treat them nice to not seem racist.

etc etc lots of positive if you are black.

negative if you white cause muh reparations

The best Americans are the best in the world at practically everything.

100%, Americans are friendly as can be

>tfw underweight American
>no glorious Freedom Belly™

Christian

>no freedom belly
its overrated pham
>want to get rid of it
>too lazy to do so

My positive stereotypes:

Freedom
Good burgers
Gun laws are based
Stand your ground laws
Big cars

Serious answers:

>Incredibly friendly, American people will happily talk to you in public
>Fantastic service, especially at hotels/restaurants
>Great at 'grandeur', no one does spectacle like Americans
>Americans are generally seen as cool and trendy
>Wealthy, goes without saying

>>Incredibly friendly, American people will happily talk to you in public
not sure where that meme came from but I think it depends on the state. California and Florida have some pretty rude people

When I landed in Charlotte a year or so ago I asked a random guy working in the rental parking garage if there was a soda vending machine nearby. He said there unfortunately wasn't, apologized, and offered to give me his unopened bottle of coke that he had in the office. I believe this level of generosity to complete strangers is almost unique to the American south.

We call it southern hospitality. The south is home to good people with good values.
I'm proud to be a southerner.

Americans make the best beer in the world... and drink the worst.

Would southern hospitality be extended to non-whites as well?

Gryffindor of the world. Brave, patriotic, sticking to what is right, true values, smart as fuck when it comes to human achievements from the top science community. Best entertainment producers that without I would more likely to kill myself. Look pretty simple to communicate with; become friends. God mode armed forces.

Polite as fuck. Nobody speaks to you more politely than American strangers. Got called 'sir' everywhere I went over there, even by people not serving me at a shop or restaurant or whatever.

The stereotype I have in mind is that burgers are really dumb as it comes to general knowledge but go very deep in their area of expertise. So the highest level experts in any business tend to be burgers. However they can't find Germany on the map.

If you just assume that cunt means sir, Aussies are at least as polite as Americans.

Friendly, nationalist, genuine love of democracy and freedom, can afford to buy more stuff than europoors with their low taxation

that's the thing, the south has the whole 'southern hospitality' thing where in general, they do have more of a polite front. but behind it, they have really bad tempers and when things go bad, the fucking explode. a lot of shootings in my hometown in FL happened from rednecks. they're polite but pretty rough.

Nah mate, it's just a country thing. Larger town-goers and city dwellers are cunts.

Southerners are really hospitable and friendly, have a strong culture they are proud of and seem like they would be incredibly loyal and stick with you against the government/bullshit. Black southerners seem really decent too

Midwest yankeedoodles seem pretty down too earth and chill, if s little self-important

New Yorkers and especially people from jersey take no bullshit and are great for banter. They are a mixed bag but I find the good self aware ones my favourite Americans

North west (excluding Washington and Oregon) are adorable and seem to be very genuine.

Arizona is redpilled central
Cali, Washington and Oregon have really great people outside the cities, probably my second favourites after southerners. City people are pure scum.

Florida is just hilarious and fun as fuck. Such a strange mix of many cultures yet somehow works. Whites and Latinos from here are like New Yorkers mixed with southerners, it's strange but interesting. Blacks from Florida aren't fun

No idea about Hawaiians and Alaskans, only part of the states that I haven't been

you are all rich too

One thing that struck me was how they always say "you're welcome"

No one ever says that here, but for Americans it's like an involuntary reaction to "thank you"

Individualistic and distrusting of government and institutions

Everyone shits in toilet.

You are American

Shut up

Damn right we do.

I like the law that allows you to kill anyone who enters your property without authorization.
In Hungary we can't even defend ourself or we go to jail

Your cops shoot a lot of niggers

Surely that's a negative stereotype in India.

I heard you're the most welcoming/kind people on Earth

It's easy to have fun

>Blacks from Florida aren't fun
trust me I'm from FL, traveled all over the US. the blacks in FL are the niggest of the niggers you can get

Guns and Freedom

this is what i know about americans
black
big dicks
fucks a lot of white chicks

As glutenous, loud, arrogant, and superficial as Americans often appear to me, there are some decent ones, and most of all, in general, I have a huge admiration for the 1st amendment and anyone all who, genuinely, stands by it (of course there are many Americans who don't though).

But yeah, the 1st amendment is by far the coolest thing about America; I'm definitely jealous of that one.

Patriotic and proud.

Wish I could say the same about my fellow country"""men""".

They work for their goals

A lot of the blacks I've met down there seem to be pretty nice ppl..surprisingly. obviously I've never taken a leisurely stroll through one of their ghettos but the ones I've met at football games usually seem to be decent folks

Noone asked your opinion Finncunt I am not taking abuse from some asshole seal fucker whose great great grandmother opened up her whore vagina for a horde of pillaging mongols and their horses afterwards

Duterte?

Not african

The fewer and further away black people are from the ghetto and other blacks the nicer and more normal they become. A lot of it has to do with posturing and not looking like a sellout to whites to other blacks.

You actually can take the monkey out of the jungle. Just dont bring too many other monkeys.

>glutenous

>The fewer and further away black people are from the ghetto and other blacks the nicer and more normal they become
this, the black I met that weren't niggers are the nicest people, nicer than most whites actually. it's like their generational family worked hard as fuck to get out of poverity, did it and in the process got rid of all the bull shit. not surprising most of these blacks are conservative as well.

Kek

Serious answers;

>Industrious
>Friendly & polite
>Optimistic

Honestly Americans are some of the friendliest and most candid people I've met.

They also seem to be genuinely positive and upbeat wheras I feel Brits just pretend to be happy but really we're a miserable lot.

t. Jatravious Carter

t. La'Tanashe Washington

your anecdotal evidence is killing america by the way

fuck you and your small penis, I'm not black, go back to your futanari porn

>nice and polite front but behind it a bad temper

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_of_honor_(Southern_United_States)

Thats why.

>Southerners are really hospitable and friendly

Thank you Diet Australia, we southerners will fight all the way everytime.

>Jersey good at banter

You know this is true and we don't get enough credit for it. When I went to the UK last month me and my wife got drunk with some locals and they were surprised we could handle the banter.

Southerners are super nice though it's true, but something always seems fake to us when we go there as NJ/NY residents.

Dumb

Kek Germans are so intimated and but blasted by us is hilarious

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_of_honor_(Southern_United_States)
huh interesting, that sounds about right. it's weird too because I eventually developed that as well, even though I'm not a redneck. if someone starts acting rude to me I fucking explode and want to fight them, it's weird. moved up North and the people here definitely do not have that. they're way more rat-like and just cold.

...

And right on queue, a wild turkroach appears to shit on the thread!

I prefer it, iv met a lot of Northerns who told me that the whole Southern Hospitality was a lie and such because of that, which is a media narrative of course, but I think the polite "face" that is presented is superior to well, you nailed it the whole rat like and coldness of the Northerners, which is mostly the ones from the cities.

I see nothing wrong with being polite to someone I cant fucking stand as long as they're polite to me in return.

>positive and upbeat

DOnt blame yourselves. Anyone who lives in England-like climate is bound to be be glum and despondent.

>southerners
>nice

Only to other whites maybe.

Americans usually are friendly, but its not really genuine friendliness. It seems forced and contrived, calling everyone 'sir', extreme politeness where its not expected. Its the type of 'kind' you want to portray to the world so that they like you. They are courteous and polite but no more than any other country.

You know who are actually and genuinely friendly? Japanese.

your american news

>nobody else mentions Christianity

>I see nothing wrong with being polite to someone I cant fucking stand as long as they're polite to me in return.
same. I grew up in FL in a multi-cultural background, but around a ton of rednecks in school. it eventually just rubbed off on me, but it's weird because basically the southerners and hispanics/others in FL kinda stay away from each other, and since I was never redneck, I later on was mingling more with the other cultures but that southern part of me would come out and I would fucking explode because they would all just act rude or talk shit to you. then you get in their face and they're like
>w-what, y-you're crazy man
and it's like, no I just don't take bull shit. I didn't really take an objective look at the south until really moving up north and seeing how different it is. now I can see why southerners can't stand 'yankees'

>Only to other whites maybe.

You say that like it's a bad thing, Pajeet.

>I know the stereotype is fat and stupid, but what are the positive ones?

ooh, that's a tricky one

you might find some better stereotypes in porn, but Safety Chan will change public tastes to safe sex now.

America must adapt and make more.

Nobody in the USA is friendly to indians, we just don't like or trust you.

big tits blonde hair blue eyes is a pretty good stereotype

True. I just wish you would be more upfront about it rather than feign friendliness.

In India you're seen as white and materialistically advanced, that is you know how to enjoy that life and have means for it.

pretty much what tryhard faggots here try to be

I grew up on the border between VA and NC on the VA side by 5 miles. Nothing but farms, hell my families been here since the revolutionary war. By here I mean right there, back when all of the area except Portsmouth was called Norfolk County. Its a hard thing to explain to foreigners/yankees isn't it? I was raised in a pretty singular ethnic background, my highschool only had 10 black students out of 300 something student body and aside from 2 of them were all rural kids too so nig culture didn't really exist. It wasn't until my 20s when I went further north into Williamsburg for work and traveling to different states for work that I started to realize how fucking weird everyone else is. Just like you, id be exceedingly polite and gentlemanly but would explode at the drop of a hat. I got the same
>>w-what, y-you're crazy man

Its very interesting how different we are south of the mason dixon line compared to the rest of the country, we're probably the largest spaning solidified identity too. I know that my regional culture is different then say, a farmer in Georgia near the Appalachia but at the same time we're connected by our over arching Southern identity, and you really don't find that outside of the south in the US.

yes, a lot of Americans are Germans who pretend to be British

That's like the Royal family, so it could be a positive stereotype for tourism perhaps.

You're just thin skinned is all. Can't take criticism for shit. It's nice that you try though. Maybe one day you'll figure out how to be humble like people from the rural Midwest.

Stand your ground is in the minority unfortunately. Most states do have castle doctrine though which is nice.

yes this is my experience . Southern niceness is a sort of decorum and not exactly genuine. . Its the same reason southerners whip back so hard against those that are different. And dont try joking with a southerner, I think they all try to be obtuse so not to sully themselves with joke making. All conversations must be dull and unoriginal. Midwesterners take the piss but are very nice about it and very human, if perhaps a little passive agressive. Mid- Atlantic like myself will call you a cocksucker as a form of endearment which i guess is a little crazy.

Hnh, around where I live people will help out a complete stranger for no benefit just because they ask, or look like they need it.

And I live in a super depressed city that has permanent cloud coverage.

True, but I know as a Midwesterner, we have some very nice people as well, who show genuine hospitality.

Positive Spanish stereotypes about Americans...

+Good with money
+Independent, self-sufficient
+Entrepreneurial, innovative
+Positive, optimistic

Negative stereotypes about Americans

-Warmongering, jingoistic
-Fat
-Think Spain is in latin America

this beaner knows whats up

We found it once. Just had to go through France and shit.

Well yeah, those blacks obviously assimilated into society, and thus could afford luxuries like tickets to football games.

+ Individualistic, business-oriented
+ Great entertainment industry
+ Technologically advanced
+ Law abiding

~ lowd in public, too boisterous
~ materialistic
~ "American smile" - you are always smiling, mostly when you there is nothing to smile about. Some people like it, since Slavs are pretty grim and cold, but most don't

- warmongers
- """freedom bringers"""
- shameless (I have no idea where this is comming from. TV shows I guess?)
- fat, unhealthy
- niggers lovers

...

Optimism, brash, nationalistic, loud, inspirational, high on life... (kind of all the positive traits of Donald Trump). He's everything that right with America.
That's how I saw them in the 80's/early 90's but things have changed unfortunately.

NO

I just don't get the stupid thing. It's like men, the distribution is more flat and wide than others: we have really stupid and really intelligent people

Obesity is a sign of wealth.

>You know who are actually and genuinely friendly? Japanese.
I've heard the complete opposite. I've read that japs are extremely rude and racist. Some english teacher said that japs would come up to him on the street and ask him when he's going back to his own country.
I can't even imagine what would happen if I said that to a foreigner.

t. fatty

America is awful.
