oh woops, all the major wars have been fought and drones do it all for you

Enonce Cuntwell is the reason we have loaded ethnics. Despite his later anti-immigration views, whilst he was Health minister in the early 1960s he encouraged a large number of Commonwealth immigrants into the understaffed National Health Service. (!)Prior to this, many non-white immigrants were often obliged to take the jobs that no one else wanted (e.g. street cleansing, night-shift assembly production lines), often paid considerably less than their white counterparts. Powell was vehemently opposed by the Trade Union movement (who feared that immigrants were being used by capitalists to keep wages low by artificially increasing competition for jobs), but there is no doubt that in (!)easing non-white immigrants(!) into what was considered a prestigious form of career, he boosted the confidence of the immigrant population and helped(!) lay the foundations of a future immigrant-descended permanent Afro-Caribbean and Asian middle class in Britain." And don't forget he was a nonce

Thanks Ivan.

Sure is. Nothing better than a late night trip to ASDA!

I was smoking Golden Virginia, had to go back to regular cigarettes. Smoked tobacco from the age of 20-25, but my chest has been fucked recently. Bought a pack of B&H gold, smoked all 20 and my chest actually felt better. Don't know what it is about about rolling tobacco.

I thought I was the only one. Custom pizzas at 9pm.

Misleading
UKs 3rd largest party deserve representation, but since they have 1 MP and the most MEPs, they will have lots of MEPs appear

Whilst when getting representation from the other parties, they will invite MPs rather than MEPs

Packaging doesn't really bother me that much to be honest. I've been thinking about quitting for a while now but never had the determination to actually kick the habit.

I agree though, there is something pretty nice looking about a black pouch.

So why doesn't it seem there far more lefties on the panel most shows?

We kind of did listen to him though after WWII.

Pls no bully

probably because you're a far right bigot who thinks everyone left of hitler is a lefty......?

>Hayek told Fisher to set up what he called a "scholarly institute" that would operate as a dealer in second-hand ideas. It's sole aim should be to persuade journalists and opinion-formers that state planning was leading to a totalitarian nightmare, and that the only way to rescue Britain was by bringing back the free market. If they did this successfully - that would put pressure on the politicians, and Fisher would change the course of history.

>being this bluepilled

Why do Northerners still vote for Labour?

Bretton Woods always had problems though. Artificial currency devaluation in other counties allowed them to hold the Americans to ransom over Dollar exchange rates. I can't really blame them for dropping it after the Pound devaluations in the 1960's.

It does make me laugh though when other people on Sup Forums try to shit on Keynes. Hitler was taking a leaf out of his book in the 1930's with his public works programme.

Try again, in English this time.

...

Literally this simple tbqh. Here in Wales it's 'my mam told me THATCHER shut the mines down'.

Because the Tories always shit on us like with education. We don't need Grammar schools here we need more funding for state schools. Most of the public schools here have massive discounts because they can't get enough students to enrol.

People still think Labour is Wilson and Attlee and they have strong party machinery up here to get people though the ranks. The only Tories are Durham Uni students and some professionals.

People are learning though, UKIP is rising fast up in the North-East.

Margaret Thatcher was the greatest Prime Minister this country has ever had.

Just you wait until Farron becomes PM, then you'll know what a true leader is.

My milk is ready.

Libertarianism > Conservatism

Stop living in the 19th century. Toryism/Conservatism is dead. The Right can only survive as libertarian-right.

>Because the Tories

Yea, that's what I thought.

Do people not realise Labour care about them just as little at The Tories do?

>People still think Labour is Wilson and Attlee

Giving them way too much credit here mate, they're all just mongs who mutter "muh tories, muh mines, muh ebil Maggie" This is mandatory if you haven't seen it yet:
youtube.com/watch?v=NIt3PM5DF_c

I'd rather be on the wrong side of history than CIVIC

>memetarian open-borders shill
go and stay go

How does that argument explain why people should vote Conservative?

> They both hate you equally so vote Tory.

Labour are also bumbling retards.

That's the case for the rank and file but in the cities like Newcastle there is a strong core of old labour. Hence why Corbyn always gets a good reception up here.

I want to admonish them for picking on him, but the fact that despite himself he holds all the cards just makes the frustration amusing.

Though a Blair return (in the style of Wilson's return in 1974, though he never stopped being leader, perhaps?) followed by evisceration at the polls is an amusing scenario to imagine.

Oh, I agree. Breton Woods wasn't sustainable as it came into existence (though it was nice while it lasted.)
The Bancor seems to solve most of the problems with it though. The USA wouldn't occupy any special position since countries would trade in Bancor instead of USD, and the balance of payments wouldn't be an issue since the confiscation of excess surplus and penalizing of excess deficits would bring trade into balance.

It's strange because despite sounding almost NWO-y to have such an organisation overseeing international trade, it actually seems plausible that it would be better for national sovereignty than the current unrestrained system.

I'm reminded of Mussolini saying that "Fascism entirely agrees with Mr. Maynard Keynes, despite the latter’s prominent position as a Liberal. In fact, Mr. Keynes’ excellent little book, The End of Laissez-Faire (l926) might, so far as it goes, serve as a useful introduction to fascist economics. There is scarcely anything to object to in it and there is much to applaud"

The endorsement certainly doesn't help when dealing with twitchy ancaps (Naturally, Pinochet and Friedman is DIFFERENT, for REASONS.), but I feel it does more to make Mussolini look level headed than to give credibility to the idea anything short of recreational McNukes is borderline Ingsoc.

And the Tories aren't?

I live in one of these areas and they're not as stupid as right-wingers think or as fanatically anti-Tory as left-wingers think

Plenty of people understand that Labour doesn't care about them either, they just don't vote instead of making the mistake plenty of people here do that keeps the Tories in power with a good mandate

Someone ought to look into the discrepancy in turnout rates in these areas

I havent been on britpol for nearly a week it seems a bit slower or is it just me

Night shift crew doesn't seem to come on as often.

Normies got out

Some posters have ruined Brit/pol/ for good

>implying that libertarianism is inherently civic nationalist or pro-open borders

Also coincidentally, not an arguments.

As it so happens, I was just hunting for a map to find out if Northerners voted at all, since Blair did to Turnout in 2001 what he did to Iraq in 2003.

youtube.com/watch?v=6lXumCFCVBk
can i get a translation of the first 30 seconds or so of this video?

Well that's completely proves my point then, look at South Wales and the North

>implying I was saying they should vote Tory

Of course not.

It is just I know Northerners who when you speak to them are pretty redpilled but then will refuse to vote anything about Labour because 'Need to stop dem ebil Tories'. Even though Labour are going to fuck them over just as hard.

So are the Tories. Their economic "competence" is an illusion caused by - to appropriate the name of James Callaghan's biography - "Time and chance"

Don't forget that for all they talk of Labour overspending, they promised to keep to Labour's plans just before the financial crisis: conservativehome.blogs.com/torydiary/2007/09/tories-will-mat.html

Or, you know, Black Wednesday.

They're just the ideologues you find all over the country in big cities imo, I wouldn't say there's anything special about the NE/Town when it comes to socialism, I've always found that to be a myth. Newcastle these days is full of students and is well on its way to getting (((enriched))) anyway, It doesn't represent the region as the referendum shows.

Rank and file are the vast majority of labours support and they're all clueless. Corbyns support is a small hardcore of fanatics and the professional protester class - every corbynite I know is the kind who shows up to a protest of some sort every cunting week. It's the reason they're so deluded I reckon, they think Corbyn's popular but it's just the fanaticism of his fans inflating their perception of his popularity, the loudest of loud minorities...

Tripfags?

QP wait times on Overwatch have sped up.

I'm 9 miles from the border with Scotland and we have a Tory mp

anything but Labour* sorry

I wanna do my placements but i know im gonan get fucked

That's why you need to get L O C A L and help UKIP get votes.

...

Where did you finish last season?

I only ever voted Tory in the London elections.

It probably would have been better but the Americans would never give up the pre-eminence of the Dollar.

I think these days to argue against a managed economy in some form is retarded. The market is simply too complex to have it completely laissez-Faire. Since the economy is now globalised (whether we like it or not) we need an organisation that can globally regulate the economy (Not the IMF, that's an American backdoor). By managed I mean every aspect, immigrants as labour as a commodity. They have to be regulated like anything to stop them flooding the labour market.

Well exactly. Hitler and Mussolini's (who was a socialist in the 20's) economic policy was basically 'socialism in one country'.

2700 High
2600 in the end
everyone just went retarded at the last few days

Yes, yes. We can all compare the best elements of one person/party/group with the worst elements of another. Even then, a lot of what is supposedly bad regarding Thatcher or good regarding James isn't. And even then, Callaghan is the exception, not the rule.

fuck off.

Major had the economy sorted, and Blair rode that horse into the ground.

Because, as we know from Labour's economic heavyweight, they had abolished boom and bust.

Get Dice on the wire, I'm sure they can find some obscure black guy who was there and then put him on the poster and make him 1/4 of the cast.
