Hey Sup Forums, I've been in a crisis lately. I've been looking into capitalist arguments lately, and most of them seem legitimate. However, I haven't gotten any strong factual proof from the arguers that correlates with these arguments. Could someone please show out a correlation among these correlations to clarify some of the doubts I have?
Also, any suggested reading on right wing economics as well?
Capitalism: Your company's boss rides around in his yacht with all of his useless shit, schlomo is happy.
Socialism: Your boss gets paid a comfortable wage by the state, doesn't have a yacht, and you have some more money to live comfortably with. Schlomo sad.

Capitalism is superior because nobody is a fucking parasite and everybody has what he earns. Sure, you need some regulations (enviroment etc.).
I fucking hate socialism. My family was very rich before fucking communists took our everything in 1945-48
Josiah Brooks
Capitalism: If you have a good enough idea, it can take off and you'll get your own yacht and useless shit
Socialism: If you have a good enough idea, the state takes it and you earn no more than if you'd kept your mouth shut
Really makes me think.
Joseph Thomas
its funny, because what is truly happening is that socialists confound capitalism with corporatism. and when they talk about all of the problems with corporations, it all stems back to the power that they can obtain through the government. But instead of addressing the governments enabling of lobbying/etc., socialists attack capitalism.
And to be honest, i'm not so clear as to why the government shouldn't just be considered a giant, monopoly, with the worlds largest military force, that is able to force its citizens into actions.
Jayden Reed
This looks interesting. I'll take a look at it, thanks Swedebro.
Joseph Anderson
how did you get out of gomunism
Ryan Hughes
Socialism, being made in criticism of capitalism, is inherently better- once sufficient material conditions exist
Anthony Moore
This is the video that began me on my "redpill" journey.
Luis Phillips
Modern so-called capitalist states aren't capitalist. Not really. We tax the wealthiest and give it to the poorest. Those without jobs but are looking for one are subsidized by the state until they are given a job in the marketplace.
Socialist thought has influenced western culture and economics to the point where the system in place currently is neither Capitalism nor Socialism.
Thesis(Capitalism) + Antithesis(Socialism) = Synthesis(whatever the fuck this shit is).
Carson Bell
they ran out of money.
we only got back like 10% of what was confiscated tho

Capitalism: America
Socialism: Venezuela, Cambodia, USSR, Vietnam, North Korea, Laos

>everybody in capitalism gets what they earn AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

What conditions are those? Unlimited resources so when your economy collapses you can still feed your people? Pretty sure that's impossible.

Notice how it's always low IQ shitskins that find communism so appealing. Another reason to build the wall and keep these retards from voting in American elections and fucking up everything this country managed to build for itself.
Nolan Garcia
Nice cherry picking. That list doesn't include capitalist countries like Haiti, El Salvador, Cambodia today, or Indonesia. Or most of Africa or Latin America.
Brandon Bailey
np, i am kind of in the same boat as you, only difference is i can see through socialism somewhat
Lincoln Stewart
You described communism, not socialism. The difference is socialism is between the two. You get less than capitalism but you still get more than if you didn't have the idea.
Lucas Brown
Wouldn't socialists then show you the examples if Denmark and Sweden? I mean you bring up social policy as an argument, though then that wouldn't be relevant to the economic argument being made.
Sebastian Carter
Same. We didn't get much confiscated though.
Julian Jackson
>Implying the system just magically became corporatism >Implying capitalism doesn't always degrade to corporatism >Implying the government would ever care about normal people if it's a burgeois government
Aaron White
All of those countries are populated by shitskins and were bound to fail either way. Notice how communism even fails in countries where IQs are above your average shitskin and ends up devolving into purges of the population because the government is trying to prevent an uprising by their starving population
Isaac Barnes
Capitalism requires slavery to function. In fact, it has never existed without slavery.

What the fuck are you even seeking, OP? I don't understand your question. You want me to justify capitalism? As opposed to what? Socialism?
Take a look around you. Look at your fucking flag. That is what capitalism produces. The greatest and most powerful nation on Earth. Now look at Europe. With the whole imploding economies, high taxes, and general shitty everything. Government is incredibly inefficient and the more it is involved, the worse it is and the more waste there is.
Also, my main argument against socialism: fuck you and fuck your bills, faggot. Pay for your own shit and fuck off.
Brody Thompson
even in fantasy idealism socialism is a mediocre bore whereas capitalism is a sweet money and drugs party, capitalism wins
Carter Murphy
Socialism should be abolished in the west, sound money re-introduced, and the red's need to be given helicopter rides.
Luis Mitchell
I watched this and then took the true red pill. T. proud communist.
Nathan Martin
Socialism and communism are the same fucking thing! Fuck off Bernie Sanders!
Brandon Murphy
The conditions are sufficient industrialisation
Notice how it's always poor countries that want communism- because they have been pillaged by empires and now fucked by stupid loans that are obviously to bribe government officials to pass shit labor laws
Oliver Jackson
funny communism is the endgoal of socialism
Jack Davis
Economics is a religion. You can't reason a capitalist when talking about capitalism. The same is true of commies.
Everyone forgets they're just systems to achieve a desired end and they instead enshrine and worship the systems themselves.
Luke Green
Oh I get it, trve communism hasn't happened yet. Classic Commie argument. You're retarded.
Aiden Murphy
>le ebin nigger shitskin IQ meme I'm sure 1840s Ireland was absolutely wonderful. Capitalism at work. >communism never does anything good and always turns into purges and starvation That's bullshit revisionism. capitalism enables innovation and creativity

>>Implying the system just magically became corporatism >>Implying capitalism doesn't always degrade to corporatism
Its not magic, its the absolute interference of the free market by the government through lobbying that introduces bias that leads to corporatism.
Socialists want to give government all of the power instead of corporations, but the government has been the one screwing them over this whole time.
Chase Perez
no, a system that rewards anyone who can fill the needs of the people, like making a new better phone or whatever, surely wouldnt reward innovation
capitalism forces you to think of others needs as you are actually wanting to sell your products to them
Zachary Hall
So who has met your requirements for Communism to work? The USSR was highly industrialized and were basically the world's largest super power at one point, yet famines in USSR proper and their satellite states were not an uncommon occurrence.
Adam Garcia
Human History.
Read Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations, and Thomas Sowel's something something economics was pretty good.
Compare it with the Communist Manifesto.

^ This guy gets it Also dont forget banker's/jews/money magicians love the left, and the war mongering neo-cons, both have no fiscal responsibility, and spend money they do not have, hence they become defacto pawns to the money creators.
Socialists act like they are against banks, its a fucking laugh.
Isaac Bailey
Many of the incredibly advanced inventions we get to enjoy today have their origins in govt-funded labs and universities. Innovation and creativity comes from passioned people, not the pursue of wealth.
>hey i'm nikola tesla i invented AC to get fuckin LOADED lmao

>comparing entire economy systems to how some shitty phone was made Go home, Bjorn. You stay in your shitty socialist hellhole.

in fairness to his point, governments have been incredibly terrible at economic calculations.
Mostly because it takes an extreme amount of arrogance to believe you can control the economy better than it can.
Jacob Butler
>Corporations don't screw you over
Ethan Rodriguez
Go check what nation Tesla's inventions were dreamt up in and count the amount of social programs.
Anthony King
If you want something to read, read anything by Milton Friedman. There are a lot of videos on youtube of him arguing against common complaints posed at capitalism as well.
Hunter Wright
Basic Economics Wealth, Poverty and Politics both by Thomas Sowell
Capitalism and Freedom Free to Choose both by Milton Friedman
Capital by Thomas Piketty
Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith

>better phone And who invents the first phone? Capitalists won't lift a finger unless somebody does the heavy lifting for them. Which usually the government, funded by the people. Speaking of phones, USSR actually had the very first prototype of the mobile phone.
Jonathan Perry
>Socialists act like they are against banks
all while loving the FED and praising their every move.
Matthew Jenkins
yea i can kind of understand what you are saying, but the thing is most of those people come from countries that were at least capitalist (most notably of course, USA) where are all the socialist inventors?
and of course im not saying that innovation only comes of capitalism, only that capitalism as a system fundamentally rewards and therefore incentivices innovation, as opposed to socialism/gommunism
Adam Cruz

Why didn't it take off then?

That's actually a good image.

Corporations definitely screw you over, but large, corrupt, single party states with planned economies are not only prone to corruption but also have the authority to kill you unopposed.
Jose Lee
please inform me how corporations can "screw me over" individually without the support of a monolithic government legally enabling it.
Jacob Stewart
Interesting political compass you got there, OP.
But remember, not stealing is a sign of fitness, which means it's a K selected attribute, meaning it's pro private property. Which also means it cannot be socialist, at all.
K selected is right, always.
John Powell
except capitalists usually are the ones to do the heavy lifting by actually inventing it (whatever IT is) and selling it. socialism tries to intervene in that, does it not?
im not saying that government funded programs cant do well, but i dont believe they would do better than capitalist inventors
which might explain why the ussr phone didnt go viral
Carter Sanders
Recommend Milton Friedman's "Free to Choose." It's pretty short (200 pages or so), but he decimates many government attempts to create equity and security through programs such as the FDA, affordable housing, affordable schooling which have been shown to backfire.
You have to think of capitalism as simply the protection of private property. From there, everything else follows. You are your own person, limited only by your desires and ambition. All agreements are mutually beneficial. All acheivements are long term.
Also, with no government safety net, most people are still able to thrive, they just act differently. People focus on family strength and community ties because it is these groups that provide assistance in a time of need. So in general, people are nicer and more genuine to each other because you never know if that person can help you later on. Welfare distorts these community ties. You don't need to leave your house and talk to your neighbors because you have an anonymous check in the mail that is seen as an entitlement, not a privilege.
Isaac Davis
Communists are under the false pretense that Communist governments don't basically just become one gigantic corporation that owns an entire nation.
Hudson Turner
the funny thing about this, is that socialists would rather us all be equal than prosperous because its "fair".
A trade off of our overall economy doing worse to forcibly make us equivalent is something they'd be willing to do every time.
Asher Thomas
holy fucking wew, lad.
You are a living, breathing Dunning-Kruger. You are clearly spouting feelings-based ideas rather than evidenced-based, well-informed ideas.
You need to read up on different economies and different forms of wealth distribution.
Don't wew at me or my wife's lad ever again
Grayson Nelson
>implying socialism wouldn't build 3 ladders so everyone can escape.
Dominic Evans
no it would simply divide the ladder even more
Wyatt Fisher
>capitalism is so great it's even the best in images trying to bash it
Wyatt Moore
It was more or less of me trying to understand both sides. Right now I am undecided in whether if socialism or capitalism is better.
Mason Morgan
You forgot your image.
Thomas Butler
Why do you commies want the state to cuck you? Please answer me this. Why do you trust the state with your life, your best interests.
Communism, socialism, are idealistic bullshit that doesnt apply to the natural world. All lifeforms need space in which to compete, this is the driving force of evolutionary progress.
The ladders would be shit quality and break
Matthew Sanchez
Describe specifically the difference between socialism and communism from a purely economic perspective.
Lucas Parker
>where are all the socialist inventors? im not even russian and i feel personally offended
I can get that cash was the incentive of many great creations (Google, Microsoft to name two well known) and boy is it a great one

W E W L A D E W L A D
Carson Clark
socialism is communisms retarded younger brother who will eventually grow up to be exactly like him
Ethan Perry
Capitalism would be 1 shit quality ladder and the owner charges anyone to use it, only for it to break halfway up. Causing the person to fall. The owner would then build another and charge the person another fee to try again.
