Which grand strategy game is the best for full on deus vult? Really got an itch for it right now. Also, out of your top 5 favorite leaders before Trump presidency do you predict he will land in your top 5?

CK2.
No
Thats what I am usually recommended for almost anything via grand strategy wise. Thank you.
My problem with this game was the restrictive war mongering/conquering. Always needing a cause for war (which takes forever to get) and then only getting to keep a single region even if you take over everything.
Any grand strategy that fixes this?
CK2 FTW
Mount and Blade ?
Is it good for just wanting to conquer the world based only on religion purposes? I know I could technically "roleplay" any grand strategy like that but its not the same.
CK2
All other grand strategies are for casual scum.
You just wait until you have a few claims on the same kingdom, maybe if you're lucky you'll get a duchy claim then take all the territory in one war
Or console
Claim c_county character#
Medieval 2 Total War is pretty fucking based desu.
The DLC includes a specifically Crusades campaign, aswell as a Baltic campaing where you btfo of Lithuanian Pagans as the Teutonic Order.
>he doesn't know how to manipulate the succession laws in order to get claims on entire kingdoms
>he doesn't know how to murder every cardinal in the college until your nephew is the pope and will give you a shit ton of claims
why are you even playing pleb
>Always needing a cause for war (which takes forever to get) and then only getting to keep a single region even if you take over everything.
I played the game for 20 and have no idea what I'm talking about - the post.
You can press de jure claims on duchies, seize duchies through Holy Wars, get entire kingdoms through political marriage, mop up loose counties by offering vasalisation, and, best of all, get your neighbours together and btfo of some Muslims in your Holy Lands and take Jerusalem.
Stop using forge claim on territory as your main casus belli.
Medieval 2
CK2
I did like stellaris
>inb4 cuck company
Yes it was my first grand strategy but I want better. Stellaris was fun but too limited and too much micro-managing.
Wherether it was on CK2 or M2TW, the call to crusade was so fucking satisfying.
The very moment all wars and feuds cease, and the entirety of Europe rallies together to fight the sacacens and brothers in arms, side by side.
That feel.
Stellaris is okay, but not as good as their other games (EU4, HOI, CK2)
Alright so I will play CK2. Now I just need a few pointers for my first play if anyone would be so kind.
Thank you britbro
Civ 4 ? (All other civs are cucked)
1257 AD has the Crusader States (i'd stick with kill the peasants edition version desu). There's also Medieval Conquests that supposed to be pretty good using 1257 as a vase but it's in development and is so bloated that my computer has never finished loading it.
>mfw I take advantage of the lack of troops in Europe during a crusade and fight all my neighbours
Family members should be specialised, directed to a specific use in terms of his/her talents and traits.
If you have a son who turns out to be an enraged toddler, picking fights by age 3, increase his marshal, make him a soldier.
If you have any common sense, you'l understand as you play how this applies to everything else.
For a beginner?
>Play on Ireland your first time, it's fucking easy there
>Make sure your children are educated by someone with the same culture as you and your vassals
>If you give land away, give it to someone of the same culture as you
>Use the 'find character' tool in the bottom right to find the people with best attributes and appoint them to your council
>Make sure your stewardship is at least 6 (and so is your heirs) so that you can have as many holdings as possible without penlty, this enables you to have a strong standing army without pissing off your vassals
>If you are playing a small realm, increase your centralisation as much as possible as soon as possible (in the laws tab)
Also, don't fight an enemy that can field more troops than you. You will lose.
Pull an ally into the war if you don't have enough troops
And when fighting an enemy, just keep fighting their army until it is completely gone, this is the quickest way to gain warscore. Only bother seiging once their army is gone/insignificant.
Shit, I almost forgot:
Deus Vult.
>The Union Rack

also, remember to avoid blobbing, give your dinasty land that you conquer and keep your empire at home from which you control the kingdoms or empires of your dinasty, except jerusalem obviously
How realistic are the mechanics though? Say (meme) I wanted to invade russia in the winter, how would that go over? Does it take into consideration population, weather, terrain, ect?
invading less developed, colder land in winter will pretty much ensure that you get enough attrition to return home with 1/10th of your troops, not to mention what happens if you invade pagan lands without the proper tech
>Also, don't fight an enemy that can field more troops than you. You will lose.
This is generally true, but if you make mainly heavy/pikeman infantry (via retinue) you can often turn battles where you have fewer troops since they will drag out the melee phase and take a long time to break. Baiting your enemy into attacking over rivers and against troops that are in hills or mountains also helps. Choosing good leaders helps too.
Wow, I didnt know that it went into good detail like that. I will certainly play this.
I watched all of it and was not disappointed.
it's fucking insane, you'll get fucked and then conquered with your troops dead.
I really don't know why Sup Forums isn't a blue board. But at times like this, I'm glad it's not.
it's not extremely detailed but it's enough that you will think more than twice before trying to invade norway in the 9th century
after 2 hours of CKII you'll be listening to a lot of crusader music
As a burger, I've never heard of this. I am looking at it and it sounds great. Do you have to stop at 1453 or is it like Civilization games where it says "Games over, Keep playing though?"
Can you still holy-war turbo-annex Muslims in CK2?
One you get a border or holy war CB next to a Muslim/non-Christian ruler, you can holy war them. Then once you won and taken the war goal, break the truce and holy war them again. Only other Muslim rulers will care about breaking the truce. And then break the next truce, and so on.
Im really simple so I mean thats enough detail that I can ask for.
wouldn't you lose a metric fuckton of prestige?
With dlc you start in 700s and if you're autistic it will take you weeks to get to 1453
Yeah, it's called git gud.
Marriage is by far my favorite way to take land. No resistance, almost free, and I get to keep my levies.
How long is the game without dlcs? Are there any mods that can extend the timeline?
British girl thread?
You lose quite a bit of prestige (I'm pretty sure based on your realm size) and are not allowed to declare a truce-breaking war if it would bring you below 0 prestige. Usually instead you try to use the first war to border another muslim, so you can alternate holy wars. Holy wars also have a pretty short truce period.
One thing to watch out for when holy warring pagans though is that they are pretty likely to convert to your religion in order to force a peace on the holy war.
1066 1453
LITERALLY HERETICAL
Sure
kek
...
and i think that there's a mod to extend the timeline to the roman empire but they won't release the update until january
How long has this existed and why was I not told ?!?!
I'd crusade her b-hole if you know what I mean
Would you crusade this?
Deus Vult!
I wish I could suck one of her farts through that beautiful belly button.

Get the Broken Crescent mod for M2TW for Deus Vult levels to be set at max.
Literally CK II. 2nd place would probably be Vicky II if you want industrialize, colonize, build an empire, and Make X Country Great Again.
For succession laws you can use elective early on to choose your heir but make sure you change to Ultimogeniture(youngest child inherits) later on so that you can divorce or kill your wife once you have the heir you want to inherit with the best traits(always marry geniuses for genius children unless you are trying to get a claim on their kingdom/empire)
who else who plow this while ripping off that hijab while shouting "DEUS VULT!!!"
*who else would plow this*
retarded fingers...
