Doubles can be significant under the right circumstances.

During Brexit there was three linked posts on a thread which all have doubles and gifs for Pepe.

Three posts were from different anons who generally pointed out Kek willed Brexit (was one after the other, no posts with no doubles or anything else in between).
Fourth user in the chain who pointed out the meme magic ruined the chain of posts from having further consistent doubles posts on the post chain.

Understand this is something of a complicated explanation but such is the nature of Kek.
