Just use Google Earth, click the Time button and use the slider to go to any recorded shots in that location. It ranges for other places. 1988 is as far back as it can go for this area. It's fun to use but I was curious if the whole section of stores disappeared the further back I went... it didn't though.
I think the long extension being the Comet place came after Comet was born.
