How /lit/ is Sup Forums?

How many books does Sup Forums read per month?
I mean literature, novel and essays.
Also do you consider yourself a "white supremacist"?

I suspect there is an inverse correlation, but hey maybe it's just me.

>I suspect there is an inverse correlation, but hey maybe it's just me.

Yea. People who are concerned with real world issues, vs people concerned with flowery bullshit.

I read eight books a month, give or take.

No one unironically calls themselves a "white supremacist".

>flowery bullshit

>that image
wtf Hiro

oh yeah! More data mining.
I read often. I don't think I'm a supremacist.

>More data mining.

Wow, how useful to become an expert on islamic law!

Do you have any novels regarding the tax code of the borg?

I actually posted this picture

Books are for faggots

we're LIT AF

You need to go back

3 or 4 during a busy month. 6 is probably my limit no matter how free I am. No, white people suck just as much as anyone else.

I've been reading Murray Rothbard lately and trying to reconcile libertarianism with racial realism.
Also some old books about telecommunications because I'm autistic. Fiction is okay but it's been a long time since I invested time in reading any.

Definitely not a supremacist. Separatist.

Sorry, but it is "you" who needs to go back actually

The reasonably intelligent Sup Forums is the part that doesn't share a demographic with /r9k/.

You can tell the ones that don't read (and consequently have outlandish expectations of society) if they post pepe and/or complain about women and "normies"

If your edjucated it bobly means your a gommie son of a bitch from socal. You won't see me every reading books are filled with jewish lies. the only book i need is the good book by Jesus H Motherfuckin Christ

Lit like bic

Do Journals and non traditional sources count? If so around 1000 pages maybe more, don't count them.
>novel, essays
Kek, fiction, not anymore. After finishing the Quaran I had it with crazy people writing stories based on opinions

Most of Sup Forums reads. Not reading is the first sign of a less intelligent person.

I want to have sex with her, if you know what I mean.

Literally like 10 books in the past month or two.

i read 0 books a year
yes, i know i should read books, but they are just so fucking boring

read papers and reports. Much more fun. Way better arguments to crush your opponents

2 books a month on average. I'm no supremacist bu identitarian.

>Kek, fiction, not anymore.
Civilization was build on fictions, without those books and oral traditions we would be poo in loo.

One book per month. Yes I am a white supremacist.

>Most of Sup Forums reads. Not reading is the first sign of a less intelligent person.
Sup Forums isn't known for being intelligent

I used to read a lot when I was young. All through college and up until I turned 25. I was always reading something.

Now I don't have time for one book most of the time. I've done enough reading to inform my worldview and I'm old enough that I'm not going to change much for the rest of my life.

I still read about 6 books per year. But I have a career and the internet. I can learn my fill about anything that interests me, and I can do it by targeting exactly what I want to know and reading only that.

When I get the luxury of time to start reading again, I might go back and just do the classics. I did Count of Monte Cristo about 8 months ago, and I really enjoyed that experience.

>eight books a month
Is this a new meme

I don't see any reason to read about the views on ones imagination anymore. You do this when you are a teen looking for life goals because you are confused and don't understand your environment well enough.

Iam not saying no one should read fiction or that we should as a society hang those writing them but during the last 5 years I haven't read anything that hasn't been well argumented. Not much based on feelings or pulled out ones ass, except mandatory books about feminist theory, political economy and de-constructivism/post structuralism.

I don't read, anymore. Last time I was in the habit of reading (comes in waves, I guess) was 10 fucken years ago.

www2.bc.edu/richard-burley/files/eco-onsomefunctions.pdf
you should really read this essay, it just 15 pages

it's*

>essay
>book
clearly a faggy idea of what an essay is.
just like asking how many abstracts do you read a month.

I read soley papers because of work, the amount varies for obvious reasons.
I listen to about 20 audiobooks a month while working. I think they are better then reading and people saying otherwise just do so because you had to force most children to read and they now think reading is all gwownup and shieet and audiobooks are for babies.
lets just say I almoast pray to librivox, shit is so wake yo.

not really a white supremacist but there is a time and a place for everything and I think everybody knows where the time amd the place for blacks and muslims is.

>0 a month
There's no need when there's superior mediums for entertainment and not in school anymore.

/lit/ here.

>do you consider yourself a "white supremacist"?
Yes

Reading about operation Valchiria now from the point of Phillip Von FuckIdontrememberhislastname

>There's no need when there's superior mediums for entertainment and not in school anymore.

>tfw to inteligent too read.
>an external screen > my own imagination.

I don't read. I haven't read a book since maybe the 7th grade. It's such a bore to do. I have more fun staring at a wall.

Maybe one or two depending on length, I tend to take my time reading now. Reading too fast usually means I forget 90% of the text by the following month, which makes the whole exercise pointless.

1 per week , i love reading

>do you consider yourself...
pic related

Books are just generally boring while vidya and shows/movies are more entertaining.
If its boring depends on the content rather than just being boring for being a book.

maybe 1 book every 2 months
am nazi

>Sup Forums isn't known for being intelligent

wtf we are mexicans now

>has never read Dune
Do yourself a favor

That's ridiculous. I read quite a bit, yet I get accused of being a robot all the time, whenever promiscuity gets brought up.

If anything, I think there's a case to be made that the well-read and intelligent people on Sup Forums are the ones advocating borderline-puritanism, and slut shaming.

Here are some links for anyone who wants to read

>without those books and oral traditions we would be poo in loo.
poos in loos have lots of books and oral traditions

i dont read books, i play ultra realistic immersive rpgs

>This literal truth impignes on what are often called hermeneutic truths.
And into the trash it goes :^)
On an other note I agree with the conception, that speech has a measurable effect on actors, institutions and structures (I know those are ideas who one could call fiction) and therefore fiction is a reliable source to understand social mechanisms of a certain time and maybe effects on todays society or for voodoo magicians look into the future. But still in such a qualitative way it doesn't say anything universalistic, and imo without more positivist methods taking a huge data corpus into account it is just nice to look at. In a practical way it can be used to pursue rational interests as propaganda but one needs a population reading or as being bombarded with the narrative through an other medium.

>Hypertextual narrative has much to teacg us about freedom and creativity. That is all well and good, but it is not everything. Stories already made also teach us to die.
Hermeneutic and the Pathos

Easy. We believe free markets to be the most efficient method of generating wealth, right? Then only the best people should have access to this GREAT tool, right? We wouldn't want shitty, dumb people to have a free market. In fact, we should oppress everyone not in our ingroup by giving them non-free markets to use instead.

(Austrian economics has sometimes gotten sidetracked by the "a priori" emphasis in Mises and others, but really it's a set of empirical observations about what tends to create stable societies and wealth. These utilitarian concerns do not dictate what is "good", and therefore the question of WHO gets to participate in the market, is not a question that can be answer by means OF the market. Herman-Hoppe understands this, read him.

Literally my position is "Libertarianism for whites, who gives a fuck for everyone else."

I only read while on the buss or train.
Read Beowulf last time, shit was pretty cash

I have a strict policy of only reading 1 book a year, sometimes 2, and yes I would be considered a white supremacist as I am nazi.

...

Just an autist that reads The Hungry Caterpillar and The Hunger Games repeatedly purely so he can boast about his killcount on Sup Forums

It's very healthy for your brain, I recommend it. No matter how busy anyone is, you should always have enough time for 15 minutes of reading before bed, it helps with sleep.

I read White Teeth, a novel about shitskins in London.

lol pussy faggot, the library you're being offered is of immense quality and not a honeypot at all

I read for improving my English.

1-2 but those are mostly for uni. I used to read more when I was younger

kek , well then - prove that files are not scam

About 10. From literature to math. And no I'm not a white supremacist. I am a Portuguese supremacist.

I work all day and take care of my kids as much as I can. Before sleeping, I try to read for a while. The number of books I will read really depends on the type of books.

If it's Dostoïevsky, it will be one a month, for easier novels, 1 or 2 per week.

I don't really have political views. I don't believe in democracy or that kind of bullshit, but I'm not a nazi or fascist either. I'm a christian, but I believe tradition is the most important part, not which religion you choose.

and by this I meant, books don't necessarily help a society.
also, our societies are based on extremely rapid technological progress, and greed, things only a few books (highly technical ones for the former) will give you

I have to be honest: I don't read fiction books, and barely read other kind of books. I think I don't read much... and should read a lot more. I usually read news, some articles, sometimes random stuff, and lots of technical books

I wonder if fiction books would help me socialize more. I do have social problems... I'm > 25 years old and have never had a gf :(

k watch this

off by 2 ;__;

> how many BS from (((publishers))) are you consuming, goyims? if you dont, then you are stupid

I read thirty books a month.

Most of Sup Forums reads (or at least tries to) in order to seem like more intelligent people. Actually they just read stormfrot-tier bullshit that reinforces their retarded worldview.

I just finished reading Bernanke's book "The Courage To Act". Right now I'm reading "Game Over", about the Greek debt crisis.

I finished 2 books in the last 30 days. Just finished this today. Starting another book in a min.

White supremacist? no. white nationalist? yeah sure

...

>There are as many as 5% virgins-at-marriage in the 2010s
I'm calling bullshit

> journals and non traditional sources

aka the dayly stormer

>not complaining about "normies"
bruh

Also, I average 1 book a month. I hate reading but it feels good to have finished a book. I try to read books I can learn from.

All books are liberal propaganda.

I like to read but let's not pretend /lit/ isn't just Sup Forums with books. Bunch of white boys trying to impress each other because they have given up on impressing women.

>>do you consider yourself a "white supremacist"?
>Yes
Reads Thoma Mann... Sarte... Salinger... I hope only to be able to identify the degenerates in the future.

I read 47 Lamborghinis per month

>people who fit my made up description obviously don't read

Kek, very intelligent contribution retard. /r9k/ is pathetic though. I don't see why complaining about women is bad though? Women complain about men too, it's pretty normal.

I like reading fiction. Even stuff you'd probably consider leftist.

Currently reading Under the Volcano, still need to learn more about prose so I can tackle some of the more complex books. For example, tried reading Gravitys Rainbow, and it did not go well.

I read humanistic essays mostly

Currently reading crime and punishment. Pols thoughts on the book?

It's a classic from a literary giant.

Haven't read it, but Notes From the Underground was based. Brothers Karamazov is also on my list to read. I like Tolstoy too, Anna Karenina is still my favorite novel.

SMASH DAT MUHFUGGIN LIKE BUTTON IF YOU DOWN WIT DIS SHEEEIT

Don't bother with Mason and Dixon. Biggest time suck of a book I've ever encountered, without being in the least rewarding, and I've read a bunch of those other ones.

You have the unedited version of this?

Added to my list

I read a couple books a week. Very few people consider themselves white supremacists, I am here because I think the ideologies that Sup Forums talks about are the best and only ideologies for the betterment of all of the Human races and in a broader sense all of Earth's creatures.

you're reading the wrong books then

Siste gode, norske boka eg las var Hvite Niggere av Ingvar Ambjornsen. Den var i alle fall ikkje kjedelig.

...

I constantly read and I have hundreds of books in my library. My hobby is making a pot of great coffee or tea and reading for like 6 hours at a time.

Yes "white supreeemisist" is fine, but I go with National Socialist.

Also, you're a faggot.

>How many books a month
Implying more books read equals more knowledge attained.
>How many books a month
Anywhere between one and three.
>Novels and clit lit
Zero. I prefer other forms of media for entertainment.
>Educational books
As above. One to three. I read because the medium allows for contemptlation, reflection and absorption.

>he believes novels are only entertainment

wew

A read a couple of books a month, sometimes more if they're particularly short or if I get in the mood for it. I don't consider myself a white supremecist. I don't want to return to slave times or anything like that and I have no issues being around other races (my best friend is a dark skinned fellow from the Phillipines). But I'm happy to be white and I don't feel racist for being proud of that.

And you didn't give a definition of 'white supremacist' so I'm not sure if I'm able to comment without a clear definition.
