I don't understand the question "I would support my country, no matter what."

I read the question as "I would support the current government in power, no matter what." I put "strongly disagree" because, well, why the fuck would anyone agree to that? However I feel like the question is meant in a broader sense, that you would support the interests and culture of your country. Any thoughts on that?
