What is wrong with that? My job has me living out of a suitcase, so I can't be Imelda Marcos about shoes. I bring one pair of comfortable sneakers for walking (walking and Uber are my only options a lot of the time because I can't always take my car on short notice) and a pair of business casual shoes for the office. Maybe boots depending on the season or place they send me.

Almost everyone who makes wide shoes only ship their medium or not-wide-enough shoes to Canada. When I look at the nike page and select the right width, I get offered 2 ugly ass shoes, neither of which are actually available at any listed width (thus must be medium-only).

The last time we received wide shoes was in 2011, everyone's gone since then. The only shoe stores I'm aware of that have wide shoes now are
1- local only
2- no shipping
3- extremely low supply
4- special-purpose only (i.e. for people who have strange conditions and need 7W+ shoes)
Those aren't shoes so much as reinforced plastic bags for your feet.
