I'm very fascinated with Russia.

Russia is a special place and Russians are quite unique. Two of my closest friends are born in Russia and moved to Norway during the early Yeltsin years. They're pretty bros but they always have a bit of a "chip" on their shoulder. They never tend to go for the middle ground. If you agree with em they'll fucking back you up in whatever might happen, fights or political discussions who knows.

If you disagree with em, like saying negative things about Russia or Putin they'll sour up and get really pissy about it. Even though the criticism is done with good attention or they don't even like Putin that much, they'll turn around and say shit like: "But remember what the USA has done! They have invaded Iraq, Afghanistan..." and on and on it goes.

They like drinking alcohol and their food is generally hit or miss. Some is tasty as fuck, some is like what the hell. Their parents are typically super polite though and always invites me in for food or drinks, even though they're not that well off.
