LESS LIKELY TO DIE

Perhaps it is just confirmation bias, but it really feels like every day there is a new attack on being a man.

Take this for example, the fact itself doesn't bother me, nor that it was shared. But you have to admit that the way it is presented is crafted persuasion.

LESS LIKELY TO DIE

Let me guess, high risk surgeries and shit are mostly performed by men?

Probably this. It's the wage gap myth argument all over again.

DELETE THIS POST

>the top people who do the most risky surgeries are more likely to be men
>the safe, routine stuff is either 50/50 or more women-centred

It's like the """wage gap""", women earn """less""" because more take part-time instead of full time, and more men go into higher paying fields and rise to the top. On an hour-hour basis, they earn exactly the same.

Is this the post-truth fake news the media keeps talking about?

Also more young women doctors working on young people. Generally more experienced older docs get the middle aged and elderly.

Men a greater risk takers and more likely to take on those bigger surgeries to it could be possible.

>Medicare

So mostly geriatric care which I think is largely female dominated? This is basically fucking nothing.

Pretty much. Men dominate in surgical and specialist fields. Women stick to small private practices, pediatric roles, and general practitioners. They also work far fewer hours, work close to home, and are rarely on-call.

>study
>compares low risk surgeries carried out by women to high risk surgeries by men (most of the top surgeons are men)
>compares surgeons in top hospitals with the best aftercare to poorer ares

>Studies

what is the patient ratio of women and men i wonder at one time. Women often underwork because they cant handle it

Id be willing to bet the huge influx of shitskin male doctors flooding the country are skewing the results.

everybody dies though so there's no way this isn't biased

Yep, this is pure persuation.

Men are more likely to be surgeons, especially exotic surgeons. Women are more likely to be pediatricians, working with the most resilient of patients

>tfw I'm planning on going into medical school

Fuck women.

WINNER.

First post most scientifically accurate post.

>Why take the risk with men?
>It's time we started talking about men dominating the surgery world.
>It's time we started promoting women in healthcare
>Does keeping men out of med school mean saving lives?
>Should women get a free ride?

So, what journal was this published in?

Kek, yeah, because anything with real difficulty is performed by the departmentheads that are all male

Good ground rule for hospital:
As long as you're treated by young women, you're healthy.
If you go to young men, something's wrong with you.
If you go to old women, it's gonna take a while until you're let out but you aren't in danger.
If you're treated by an old man you're in deep shit.

>tfw so brainwashed my mind didn't immediately go to this conclusion

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that's all folks.

Yeah, except female doctors do not gravitate toward the specialties in which people are most likely to die....like emergency room physicians.

If most female doctors are in less risky specialties, of course they are going to have fewer patients die.

Previously, on the last thread about this study

>~30% of doctors in the study were women
>Of those, most were in geriatric care
>Rest were oncologists, orthopedics and a few surgeons
>Less people die to foot doctors and nursing home staff than to surgeons and general practitioners, more at 11

Good job not linking it this time though. Should wait a day or two next time so people forget the thread.

>less likely to die
So people treated by female physicians have a chance to gain immortality?

Maaayyybeee its because women physicians take less hard core specialisations in general? It's more likely you'll die on a cardiologists table than during an orthopedist consultation. The majority of trauma surgeons are men, the majority of pediatricians are women.

Statistics fucked like a cheap whore yet again. God, I hate fuckers who do that.

Well fuck, that's what I get for commenting before reading the tred, everybody had the same response.

>nbc

And people are still listening to what kike msm has to say..

>when the first post is the selection bias post
well done

how can i upvote your comment??????

>tfw so brainwashed you believe the lies the media told you

I would say it was interesting, but NBC has no credibility, so I merely assume NBC is pulling this bullshit out of their asses.
