It was never not a problem. The Jew realized it could enslave most of America through home mortgages and Americans bought it hook line and sinker. As an added bonus TV was then invented and became Americans' primary socialization medium, greatly aided by the increased isolation suburbs offered. End result was white guilt and SJW crap going mainstream.
