This is how the Jews have infested us with communism, while outright communism is repulsive except to the most libby of libtards. They've made communism "acceptable" despite being the most deadly ideology on the planet since Islam. In the same way, we can make national socialism acceptable. Concepts like a strong national identity and ethnic identity already exist and are growing stronger. It's the finer points that need to be made permissible: The complete destruction of political correctness, the restoration of culture and religion, the rejection of degenerate ideology in favor of traditionalism (read: make traditionalism "cool" again by appealing to the realistic notion that few people live traditional lives anymore, and you can be a trend-setter by doing it).
Media and academia MUST be seized, however. They are currently Jewish/communist strongholds and must be dealt with.
Media can be subverted through alt-media (which is why Jews are trying so hard to censor and destroy it). Academia is harder, however, and will take generations.

Trump got elected on populist nationalism. We're getting that nibble at the apple like you say. If we can make traditional family values make a comeback maybe we have a chance.
What we need to do now is criminalize the ruthless corporate profiteering that has enriched the 1% class at the expense of ordinary Americans. With the power of the NSA to surveil: trump could have dirt on even the richest and most powerful of these billionaire leeches. He could jail the media jews, jail the banking jews, sieze the assets for the public good. It wouldn't be hard to convince the American public that many of the 1% have plundered the country from within. Right now it would be very easy to accept that remorseless profiteering at the expense of the public good is tantamount to treason.

THe advantage is this: The plebs haven't read Mein Kampf. The plebs haven't listened to a single speech made by Hitler, goebbels, Rockwell or anyone else. The plebs have just seen enough movies where Nazis are the villain.
You can't use the flag. You can't use the swastika, you can't use the name 'Hitler' and you sure can't use any reference to Nazi Germany. But you could loudly spout many of Hitler's ideas under a different banner, a different name and nobody would even know. The left just made it a thousand times worse for themselves by calling Trump "Hitler" every other day because he used some vaguely nationalist rhetoric. Now people are numb to it. It's lost it's power as a criticism.
It's really difficult to describe. It feels like it was totally outside the spectrum of modern political theory and thought.

Economically it's mostly restrained capitalism. Capitalism where one seeks to turn profit but only if it isn't exploitative of the citizenry or destructive to the common good.
Politically, it's only been authoritarian but the key element is that the state should be designed organically: The state is like an organism that is comprised of many constituent parts. Each and every government bureau, activist group, economic entity, and branch of government must be designed to work interdependently but without interfering with the function of others to serve the greater whole like organs in the human body.
The reason that Naziism frightened the capitalists of the west is that it was a natural response to the problems of unrestrained capitalism. Naziism sought to punish as traitors those who would seek to commit immoral, unrestrained profiteering at the expense of the average citizenry.
