Stalingrad

Watching Stalingrad 1993 on Christmas eve because I have nothing better to do. Is there any russian or german film that comes close to the realism of this movie?

That movie isn't editted very well, but it's good.

Go watch Das Boot, that's the pinnacle of German film.

Come and See.

Watch "COME AND SEE" from a russian Regisseur who was in besieged Leningrad.

Ya.... I'm confused as fuck because of the editing, but the tone of the movie is dark as hell.

Come and See is probably the most realistic "modern" portrayal of the nazi's in respect to the brigades of conscripted criminals and known murders they sent to Belarus during WW2.

Das Boot is the best film though.

redpill me on Das Boot senpai, I'm not a fan of submarine movies desu.

The sailors are apolitical and fight for their country.

Shindlers list.

Its really moving.

Just watch it. It's amazing.
