Red Pill me on free health care

In Austria it's not the best, but it is definitely bearable.
>Seeing a doctor is annoying
Usually about 10 minutes up to 4 hours wait, but I've heard worse
>Most doctors don't give a shit about you
They are so busy that they don't even discuss your symptoms with you.
>Emergency calls get handled well, but treated badly
Not too long ago I called an ambulance (at 1 am) on my gf because she started to feel dizzy and panicked. The ambulance came fast and took her to the hospital quickly but we ended up just leaving, because the doctors there were assholes.

Well, that's my experience.
How is free health care for you? How is paid health care? Which one would you prefer?

...

When my Dad was in the military, we had free healthcare. Quality varied, largely depending on where we were stationed.

When he retired and we switched to private healthcare, quality varied depending on which hospital/doctor/whatever we are seeing.

I think a lot of factors are erroneously attributed to the system when they are really up to the doctor and the institution he/she works for.

Tbh, knowing that whatever happens in my life, I will always be able to afford the cure if there's one feels pretty good.

everything disparaging it has is corperate jewish propaganda. Literally go to any other western civilization and experience their healthcare. Its not perfect because some countries come at it from a "humanitarian" point of view instead of being pragmatic, this tends to burden the system, but its bounds beyond what the US has.

I would really like to know how it is in the US. Would some more of you share experiences?
I can't afford actually going there.

it works as long as you crack down hard on those who want to profit and abuse the healthcare system.

Problem is, under socialist rule these things are encouraged.

And the right wing only solution is budget cuts that only make it go down the shitter even more.

bad quali, y u so mean?

because it's from an ebay auction. rather answer my question, deutschfriend

>I brought my gf to the ER where people are dying because she felt a little woozy

I'd be an asshole to you as well if you were wasting my time with ouchies and booboos

That sounds bad. My doctor is nice and pretty cute but I've never had anything worse than an ear infection caused by the flu. If you have an make an appointment beforehand then you don't really wait. Walk in clinic can take an hour. I've never been to the emergency myself but my brother slipped on ice and fell on a blade on the ground when he was little and an ambulance had to be called and he got stiches. Aside from obvious taxes we only had to pay for the ambulance. I believe it was a bit over $100 but cant remember.

Maybe I should explain this point a little further. She was dizzy, like really dizzy and everything was turning for her and she couldn't even stand or sit straight. The doctors weren't assholes per se, but more being hard on her, like I said. She was dizzy and they kept telling her to stand straight and even got mad at her for not doing so.
She ate a weedcake without knowing that it was a weedcake. You might understand that getting a weed experience without knowing that you consumed weed may be terrifying, but I admit, we're both a little paranoid with internal sicknesses

>dizzy and woozy
>could be a blocked artery in the brain
>an asshole for being worried

Yeah ok

Sorry man, didn't know that Was retarded.

I pay a lot in taxes but it's all I've known. Last year I went to the hospital with chest pains. Was there 8-3 but I got every test done and It didn't cost me 50k. It's nice.

It's not free. Someone is paying. You are someone. Any question?

I have a question. What are your living conditions like?

>How is free health care for you?

in this country it's absolute disaster (just like everything else desu):
1) soviet tier queues of oldfarts
2) total lack of funding (due to ridiculous level ofcorruotion)
3) careless doctors (they are badly paid, so they don't bother themselves sometimes even to set diagnosis right)
4) asshole doctors (who can steal your stuff if you unconsious, the ambulance doctors are top-thieves of them)
5) you gonna pay anyway (due to lack of funding)

Well, yes, but not directly. What kind of health care are you experiencing and how do you like it?

the doctors were probably assholes because they get paid as much as civil servants.

I have private healthcare that my entire family goes to (Around $1400/month), I've had the same doctor for 18 years (I know him so well we're practically bros), and any actual emergency treatment I need comes from my USAA Health insurance (deductibles cap at $500).

Im fine, and anyone who complains about not being able to afford healthcare probably works in fast food or retail.

Good. Like any other frenchman but thinking realistically, this system based on debt can't work and will destroy itself one day. I have the feeling this days is close.
Dunno, I'm not sick often and it's usually nothing terrible. I pay 25€ a doctor and some more for the drugs.

would be good if the public health system wasnt full of browns and slavs, the only good doctors are the aussie ones in my experience

Free healthcare results in a healthier, more productive society.

Paid healthcare results in a sickly, bankrupt society.

Ever wonder why America seems like such a third world shithole compared to every other developed country?
Healthcare is part of the problem.

Well, the americans seem to think differently
My current doctor is brown and is probably the best not-private doctor I had so far
