the only acceptable Russia

they (all of them) know, it will happen eventually

you either assimilate them completely, or give them independence.
but the trouble of russia is that they are clinging to their old imperial realm - which is glorious, of course, but also very impractical and will eventually lead to a disaster.
keep in mind that many of these constituent republics are populated by an ethnic Russian majority, but it's the ones that are not will cause problems sooner or later

assimilation of native siberians and caucasians will affect on their phenotype n genes. im sure sooner or later Chechnya, Dagestan and some other states like Tatarstan can get independence
Benis :-DDD

Lmao that image

they can't assimilate these guys...

Russians'won' the war with chechens, yet are paying a tribute to them so that they don't rise up again.
same with Dagestan, possibly Tatarstan etc.

Russian integrity stands only on one person. I wonder who's gonna be the next chieftain of Russia

>Caring about medieval tribesmen

That's like saying the US aren't a nation because of the Quakers. They are irrelevant to the continuation of the state, yet the state does impose power over the area without really being hindered

This is the only acceptable Russia.

What the fuck is an Okrug and why are there so many Georgians here?

The Tamyr peninsula belongs to the Nenets then, faggot

cause our small but illustrious ethnic group is (sadly) responsible for Russia ever becoming a nuclear power

Is it true that if you find the magic ring you get to be king of Russia?

>Russia

You think you're a badass now but I'll bet you couldn't do that in Crusader Kings II!

guy is such an alpha beast. twelve children, supreme leader of Chechnya, worshipped by his people, owns a private army of 5000 man (kadyrovtsy), protector of tradition and morality of the chechens, trains mma,...

yes, it takes a certain sorcerous power to gain control over these people... also being a man of a 'higher blood' doesn't hurt. that's why so few ethnic russians ever led those hordes

Kek. The only thing you're responsible for is the kitchen, Gogi.

>Chechnya, Dagestan and some other states like Tatarstan
Givi, you have never been to Tatarstan, and I live here. I'm not even going to lie to you that there's no separatist movement here, it exists, they sometimes have rallies in support of their cause. The problem is there are hardly many more that 20 people attending them. If Tatarstan was located somewhere closer to the border, well yes, nobody knows, maybe there will be a popular support for a secession movement. But so it happens that we are completely supported either by monoethnic Russian oblasts or by republics such as Mari El where the natives are practically Finnic Russians who most often don't even know their language and don't care to learn.

And as for Dagestan, well, you know what they say: Dagestan didn't join Russia voluntarily and will not voluntarily leave.

t. ancient kingdom turned to backdoor russian province

Ivan, there were living shitload Russians in Latvia but they managed to get independence. Dagestan contains dozens of ethnic groups, which ain't that loyal toward Russkies
you made me cry

>And as for Dagestan, well, you know what they say: Dagestan didn't join Russia voluntarily and will not voluntarily leave

I wouldn't be so overconfident. All Dagestan lacks for a full-fledged secession is a slightly more destabilized situation in the Kremlin (which, trust me, will happen. that's the one con with having an authoritarian government) and then it will break loose . that quote of yours sounds nice and poetic, but you know it ain't so simple

now, to be honest, i dislike North Caucasians and their dream of Islamic imarate as much as any sane person would.
now, i'd rather see russia as modern, civilized country, more caring about its own citizens than overseas military incursions but that won't be anytime soon, so when the chechens and dags rise up openly, i'll get my popcorn and watch, hoping for a good death toll on both sides

its k, at-least you can LARP as crusaders now with that flag of yours.

Ivan detected over there. we are supposed to rule your country instead

like that?

>that quote of yours sounds nice and poetic, but you know it ain't so simple
It's not of course, but it reflects the attitude of Daghestanis: I don't need to tell you of all people what a clusterfuck of dozens of ethnicities with thousand years-long rivalries and vendettas between each other Dagestan is. And people there realize that it's only Russia that holds them together and prevents them from rolling down into the state of perpetual war of all against all in which Dagestan had existed for ages before the Russians came. That is the main reason why, while Chechnya (which is monoethnic) rebelled against Russia in the 90s, not only did the Dagestanis not support the rebellion, they actively opposed the invasion of Chechens into Dagestan in 1999.

yet dagestan and ingushetia are the terrorist hotspots they obviously need more (((gibs)))

The Islamic terrorism is a completely different factor as opposed to any nationalistic secession movement I was talking about. The Islamists don't want their region to secede, they want a caliphate over the entire world if possible. In fact, you can hardly find any community more internationalist in ideology than forces of the IS.

nationalism can lead to religious extremism obviously, as we have seen in chechnya

Exactly, in Chechnya, a radical Islamic movement grew out of an initial secular national separatist movement. What I was saying is that formation of such a separatist movement in Dagestan is close to impossible, and Islamism there grows out of a completely different source.

it looks autistic af/10 this way though

sure, but no one cares about perfect borders nowadays. another autistic map proposed by Russkies

>it's the Gogi predicts Russian collapse for the 18th time this year episode

>mfw russia isn't collapsed yet
